"Just been here for Sunday roast. Booked a table at 2pm. Table wasn’t available till 2:10 as the party before were in no rush to leave. How it goes, not to worry. Then sat ages and had to ask for a menu. Eventually ordered and we were finally served at 3:20pm!! My 5 year old daughter and 2 year old nephew were passed themselves with hunger. One waitress (long brown hair) was running around trying her best but the other two were clearly work shy! Bar staff were grand as drinks orders arrived quickly. Food was nice but if we hadn’t ordered extra veg it wouldn’t have been worth the money. Spending nearly £18 on a beef dinner I would have hoped for more than one slice of meat as well! I know prices have gone up but come on! It was tasty though which is something. Met a lovely old lady on the table next to us who was 93 and still loving life! She was the highlight tbh. Sadly we won’t be back!"

Came across by accident. Beautiful weather so ate outside in the lovely beer garden. Excellent food and good drinks. Highly recommended.

Been quite a few times usually on week days for lunch but decided to try the Sunday lunch this time so glad we did all 3 of us had the beef and with the sides of veg including cauliflower cheese was absolutely delicious, the beef out of this world we shall definitely be returning Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Roast Beef
