Terrible takeaway fish and chips, fish had no taste, chips were undercooked and both were swimming in grease

Very poor food. Nothing came with what it should have, food was dry and tastless. Very poor value for money paid. The bill was £85.00 not cheap for a very poor meal. would not go back. Speisekarte ansehen

Called in for Sunday lunch without previous booking. ‘No problem’ Decent selection of beer and food. Seemed busy enough but did not have to wait too long. Remarkable value (undercharged initially! Good local hospitality.

First time visiting this establishment and very happy with the delicious sunday roast and very good value for money. Service was very prompt and staff very friendly. Will definitely return soon. Thank you for a lovely Sunday dining experience.

Made a booking over the phone for 2:30 pm on a Sunday then arrived at 2:17 got told had to wait one hour at least because of people arriving at the door could not believe it would never go again. Absolute disgrace should not be allowed booking should take priority Speisekarte ansehen

We often stop for a drink in this friendly pub where the staff are lovely, but on Wednesday this week we decided to stop and have something to eat in the dining room we both had a pizza and they were absolutely wonderful the pizzas were very large and we got a box each to take the rest home we were served by the very friendly Bev and Chris heartily recommend this lovely pub.

We were staying at the Allseasons tingdean hotel opposite The White Horse inn so we decided to pop in for dinner on the second night of our stay , we had a lovely meal of pizzas and topped nachos which were all a very good standard , my children couldn’t eat all their pizzas so the fantastic guy who was serving me a put the pizzas in a box so we could take them back with us . All the staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us well done everyone!

On a walk to the village while staying at the well know local holiday village, we, 4 friends, came across this gem of a community based pub. Although, we only had drinks the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and followed our strange request to the letter. All the food looked lovely and well presented, we didn't eat because of eating where we were staying. There was plenty of seating, inside and out with pleasant dinning areas and a cosy corner. Also running the village shop through the car park and hosting a book swap. If you are in the area we recommend to visit, to help keep places like this alive in the local communities.
