Wimpy - Speisekarte

Our go to place for breakfast in Basingstoke. Always great service and the staff are all lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend.

I must say this restaurant is run fantastically efficiently. All the staff were excellent and asked all the right questions. The manager was also very accommodating and has a great team.

Well placed in Festival Place Basingstoke. Recommend the sweet potatoe fries. Clean environment with attentive servers. Meets expectations re quality of food, mains and puds. No complaints, cheap and cheerful and beats the competition. Thanks.

I have reviewed before but feel this restaurant needs recognition for its customer service and cleanliness. Visted today for brunch and the service recived from a young lad (who was a trainee) was impeccable. Also the manager is very attentive. Other establishments should take a leaf out of their book. It is a pleasure to visit..plus reasonable prices.

The staff here are so polite and friendly, very welcoming and the place is clean and tidy , What let it down was the prices and the minuscule portion . For two quarter pounders with cheese and chips and a hot chocolate and sprite , the bill came to a whopping £27.04 , Very very expensive and sorry the portion size isn’t worth the money . I know prices have gone up everywhere but will sadly avoid this place from now on . It’s a fast food burger place , you can pay the same for a restaurant in Windsor . Speisekarte ansehen

Took our young grandson to the Festival Place Discovery Centre and at lunchtime decided to give the Wimpey a try as it’s nextdoor. Plenty of booth seating and staff were attentive and helpful. Grandson appreciated the dice game which we all played and it kept him busy while waiting for our food order. The Wimpey chain was one of the first (if not the first? fast food eateries in the UK and nice to see it’s still surviving ambience is far better than the more well known brands and prices are reasonable was well.

The food was okay, but the chips were tasty as usual. The staff seemed unenthusiastic overall, except for one young man who was attentive and helpful. The other three boys seemed to be grouped together near the kitchen and made us feel uncomfortable and judged, especially my partner. It appeared to be one of the boy's first day, as he was the most attentive. However, the others were not very professional, as they were hitting each other and even started shadow boxing. This behavior was visible to customers and cameras, making the experience even more unprofessional. Due to this, we may not return to this restaurant for a while. Time: 3:32 PM, Date: June 22, 2023.

I dont know who wrote all the good reviews, or how much they were paid to write them, but they are absolutely 100 percent false. £26 for 2 people to have burgers, fries and one drink, for truly the worst meal I've ever had in my life. Dry, tasteless burgers, that didn't even taste like beef. Chips were the bargain Iceland type. Flat Pepsi in a pint glass that was 80 percent ice. The dollar menus at the fast food places are head and shoulders above this slop they claim is food. I would be ashamed of myself if I ran this place. I would have mentioned this at the restaurant, but of course no one bothered to ask. Because of course they already know the muck they sell. Avoid at all costs. Speisekarte ansehen
