Lovely and friendly staff! Very yummy food and rooms were lovely especially that high powered shower! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

The food was expertly prepared with the finest ingredients—absolutely excellent. The staff were exceptional and incredibly accommodating. Be sure to try the jam ice cream; it’s delightful! I would highly recommend this place.

Y Talbot is special as we have seen it change over the past 30 years but have only started staying there since 2011, the rooms are lovely and very comfortable, staff are always smiling and helpful and the food you cannot find fault with looking forward to our next stay

We got married at the Talbot in September and everything was perfect. The food was amazing and the service was very friendly and professional. We dealt with Sion from the beginning and he was very helpful and professional and made the day go nice and smoothly. The hotel rooms were spotless and lovely and modern but also had character. I would highly recommend the Talbot to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

We visited earlier this week whilst staying in west Wales.....took an hour and half to drive there but it was definitely worth it! We had a fabulous lunch! The starters (chicken liver parfait and Boksburg Blue beetroot salad) and main course (shepherds pie and sea bass) were fab and we would have loved dessert but far too full so opted for the homemade ice-cream, which was a great way to finish a lovely dining experience. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We live in Cardiff but it won't stop us returning.....happy to travel a couple of hours for delicious food and a warm Welsh welcome! Keep up the good work Y Talbot.
