"As mediocre as YoSushi is, I am so glad they 're right around the corner from my office. Anyone who knows me can vouch for my random and insatiable sushi cravings at least once a week, so even though it isn 't spectacular, Yo will sell me the raw fish on rice that I so desperately need. The sushi is of a quality just greater than the supermarket variety. Edible, sometimes quite yummy, but barely actually sushi . The fish is ok, the rice is decent, and the variety is fine, but when compared to *nice* Japanese places with career sushi chefs who have been doing this all their lives, you can see that Yo is in a completely different ball-park. Quite good for what it is, but you should be sure you know what it is before you get your hopes up too high. The hot food is a bit better than the sushi, with katsu, yakisoba, and various other cooked items available most of the time. My main caveat for this branch of Yo would be the totally awkward waitstaff that serves the dinner rush. We sat through the most bizarre and confusing explanation of their hot-food ordering policy that turned out to be a complete fabrication, and I 'm still not even sure I understand what he was trying to say. A few minutes later, there seemed to be an extra dish of chicken teriyaki floating around that someone had ordered but not claimed, so the waiter came round and put it down in front of us. You want? Um.... no we 're ok with our noodles and nigiri, thanks. You sure? You try and if you don 't like, I don 't charge you. No, thanks very much but we 're just finishing up. It 's nice chicken with sauce. You try it. *walks away* It was clear that they had made an extra order of the stuff and they were trying to get rid of it. I don 't know why they didn 't just put it on the conveyor belt because it did look nice and someone would have undoubtedly taken it. My husband tried a bite and told the waiter it was too sweet for him. I said, Dude, I would have eaten that! and he confessed that it wasn 't actually half-bad, he just didn 't want the aggressive salesman to win. So, Yo is decent as long as you take it for what it is. The real thing that keeps me going back is the copious amounts of vouchers they keep emailing me; I would have a hard time justifying the expenditure for such a mediocre dining experience if it wasn 't for the 40% discount coupon they were kind enough to send me. Keep it up with the vouchers, Yo, and this could be a lasting relationship. More out of need than out of want, you understand, but as long as I can have some raw fish on rice for less than the sticker price, I 'll be there."

this chain is a good option for vegans. everything vegan is clearly marked and the sushi is as good as to expect in a fast food-like joint. would give 3.5 stars if possible.

my opinion after yo! is the best chain restaurant for vegan options. there are vegan options for any category and obvious care has gone into providing options that vegans actually want to order.

The service at this restaurant was very disappointing. I had to request green tea three times and a small plate for soy sauce twice. The sushi was mediocre, tasting like it had been sitting out for a while. Additionally, the price was higher than what I usually pay for sushi. The only positive aspect was the unique atmosphere of the restaurant. However, after one more disappointing moment, I have decided to change my rating to one star. Speisekarte ansehen

We were in the Oxford Street area and searching for a place to have dinner. I was familiar with Yo Sushi from past experiences at other locations, so I knew what to expect. While I enjoy trying out new eateries, I tend to stick with safe options when dining with kids. The branch we visited was spacious and quite busy on a Saturday afternoon. While their sushi may not be the absolute best, it is satisfying for me. Both children had a blast selecting dishes from the conveyor belt, which never fails to entertain. The restaurant had ample seating and the staff were friendly. I would definitely return in the future.

I am usually hesitant about dining at franchise restaurants because they lack uniqueness. However, my first experience at Yo! Sushi exceeded my expectations (especially since I got free Miso soup with the O2 priority app). I really enjoyed the conveyor belt concept where you can grab whatever catches your eye or order from the menu if you prefer. It was a fun and interactive dining experience. The only downsides were the price, as sushi tends to be expensive and the portions felt small. It's easy to get carried away when the food is constantly passing by you. Additionally, the seats were uncomfortable and lacked back support, but this may have been due to us being tired from walking around L...

This is where the conveyor belt sushi revolution started in London. Depending on your view of conveyor sushi, it's therefore either a place deserving of pilgrimage and a blue historic plaque on the wall outside or of attack by angry mobs bearing pitchforks! It is perhaps a testament to the vision of SImon Woodroffe, the founder of the YO Sushi that the original restaurant has spawned so many franchises as well as imitators. There is a sense of drama as you sit and watch the dishes go past you on the conveyor belt. The prices of the dishes are indicated by the colour on the rim of the plate. There is also waiter service for drinks and a small number of dishes available direct from the kitchen... Speisekarte ansehen

I will never visit this Yo! Sushi again. Having visited this restaurant chain I was surprised that the opportunity for a tiny plate of sushi was few and far between as it looked like the 'cold ' chefs were simply making masses and setting them off to the side. Not to worry though as I was perfectly happy with some of the dishes coming around. What was the major problem here is that I ate off of the little plates that pass you by while the person I was with ordered food and his food never arrived until we complained twice asking for it, and only once I was done and we decided we would go down the street to get him food was it slammed on the table. My complaints: -The Manager seemed to only we...

I imagine there was a time when Yo! Sushi was cool. That time was probably around about the turn of the millennium when looking back at old photos from then now reminds me of some era like the 80 's #dated A lot has changed since then but after dining with a friend at the original branch in Poland Street the other night, it would seem Yo! hasn 't at all. It all seemed a bit tired to be honest, not futuristic and flashy like it wants to be and the atmosphere was lacking and a bit dull. First off as you enter, there 's a big board saying wait here to be seated but with loads of room on the belts and no one coming up for at least 3 minutes, we thought we 'd make a run for it and seat ourselves....
