"I occasionally visit Stafford for business, usually during a busy day. In the past, the Marks and Spencer cafe, centrally located, has provided a good lunch option. However, on my most recent visit, I was disappointed. I arrived at 1:10pm and by 1:30pm, the tea had already cooled down so I had to ask for hot water. The toasted sandwich didn't arrive until 1:40pm and it was smaller and less flavorful than I had hoped for. The food was dry and the lemon drizzle cake was also dry. This meal was not cheap, costing over £25 for two toasted sandwiches, two slices of cake, two packets of crisps, and two pots of tea. In the future, I plan to visit one of the two Greggs locations in town and enjoy my lunch in the car. The toilets at Marks and Spencer were clean but appeared to be a bit worn. On the positive side, the ladies range downstairs was outstanding. Thank you for those two positives."
