"My first time in Locarno and it couldn't have been better! This hotel has a great location. We spontaneously booked the hotel on the internet and booked it on site. Super friendly staff, great service. We were there 25 minutes before 3pm so we were asked to wait a bit before that, we weren't allowed to check in. which wasn't a problem, lots of nice restaurants bars outside or right by the hotel. And the minutes passed quickly Cleanliness is super important to me and this hotel lives up to all expectations! Super modern rooms, if you book a room, I recommend 5 floors with a view of the lake and mountains. Simply great! The breakfast doesn't have a large selection, but it is of very good quality. Checking out was easy, we paid the remaining amount that was drunk from the minibar and we had to say goodbye to the beautiful, friendly Hotel La Palma au Lac. Many hotels can learn a lesson from this. Afterwards we received a peaceful email that the hotel is looking forward to welcoming us again soon. Until next time"

This place is outrageously wonderful. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the lake and it was fabulous. We tried the pizza restaurant and found it so good that we went four nights in a row. This hotel and location was the High Point of our 30 day Europe tour. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Great location right on the lake, 5 minutes walk to the old town. Definitely book a room facing the lake, on the back is the railway line (therefore only 4 stars for the location, otherwise clearly 5 stars). Sufficient choice at breakfast, high quality of breakfast. Very friendly staff. Had an upgraded, newly renovated room on the 5th floor, very nice! Parking can be booked on site, 14 SFr/night.

Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel. The room was big enough, the balcony spacious. The service was excellent, especially the front desk staff was very courteous and extremely friendly. Likewise the staff at the meal. The excellent quality of the breakfast buffet should also be emphasized. Walkability: Directly on Lake Maggiore, great view, everything is easily accessible on foot. Food drinks: Very good food, excellent breakfast! Noteworthy details: We were greeted in a very friendly and courteous manner at reception by Daniel and immediately felt at ease.

Bildschön. Das Hotel ist wunderschön gestaltet und zeugt von viel Liebe zum Detail. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der wunderbare Eingangsbereich. Die Farb- und Materialwahl ist perfekt. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hochmotiviert – sei es an der Rezeption, im SPA, beim Zimmerservice oder im Service. Das Restaurant mit Blick auf das Meer ist unverwechselbar. Die Preise sind etwas höher, aber die Qualität ist erstklassig. Der Fisch wurde direkt am Tisch filetiert. Die Zimmer mit Blick auf den See sind ebenfalls atemberaubend. Modern, komfortable Betten und ein Balkon mit Blick auf den Lago. Auf jeden Fall: Wir kommen wieder!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Seit unserer Ankunft im Hotel war alles perfekt, mit einem Lächeln, Wärme und sehr professionell. Unser Zimmer war hervorragend! (Mit den bestellten Rosen und zusätzlich Rosenblättern auf dem Bett. Eine sehr schöne Überraschung. Ein großes Dankeschön dafür.) Das Restaurant erfüllt unsere Erwartungen. Ein Genuss! Das Serviceteam verdient 10 zusätzliche Punkte für ihre Arbeit! Immer sehr aufmerksam, mit einem freundlichen Lächeln und viel Professionalität. Ihre große Familie bildet ein tolles Team.
