"Originally gave this place 5 stars, but clearly management care more for profit than customers. Scrambled eggs toast Chorizo went from £8 to £13 overnight and no change to what you get. Spanish breakfast gone £11-£16 and ingredients simplified, get better one from cafe for half the price. Was a regular here every Saturday for lunch. The chef and staff are lovely and I feel so sorry for them. Was the meal we looked forward to each week. I understand prices have to rise, but 50% in one day, crazy. £10 for a basic scrambled eggs on toast... Maybe they thought it had gold leaf on it? No idea. Soo unfortunate and disappointing ."

The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the staff is both cheerful and attentive, providing top-notch service. The chefs are also friendly and upbeat. Overall, it was a first-class experience. During my visit to London, I had the pleasure of dining at The Appleyard, which was so enjoyable that I returned a week later. I particularly enjoyed sitting at the high tables near the bar, where I could relax and enjoy good music, excellent wine, and delicious food. I will definitely be returning as every dish I tried from the menu was fantastic and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere at The Appleyard a perfect 5 out of 5.
