"Ate there with my family the other night and loved it; we will go back. Wonderful family-run spot. Service was warm, friendly, and professional, the best we've had at any Indian/South Asian restaurant in London. The ambience is a bit more elegant than a typical neighborhood curry house in the same price range. The food is excellent and original. The Tawa family recipe we had was delicious, as was the Butter Murg chicken. The pilau rice is excellent, and the Naan pillowy and bubbly. The food is beautifully presented. We were disappointed that they didn't have the draught beer, but perhaps that was because we arrived early in the week. Its even better than the busier Indian restaurant two doors down (which is also good, though my family found the dishes there a tad too much on the sweet side). Can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes."

I ordered dhal and saag aloo and asked the restaurant to avoid adding oil or spice and they did exactly that. I’m south Asian myself so I can tell the difference when I eat Indian food and the food tasted great! I’m pregnant so felt nauseous all day but some good vegetarian food has helped to curb this.
