I went there for a cousins wedding, a great looking place, welcoming and friendly staff, and had a great day. Plenty of parking.

Wonderful Valentine's treat for my husband; usually a nightmare for a fussy vegetarian like me bur chef coped admirably with my preferences and produced a great tasting menu for me... I enjoyed every course (this does not usually happen!

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant with two friends. The surroundings were stunning, the wine was amazing, the food was great, and the service from Nico and the team was friendly. We had a wonderful evening and couldn't fault anything. Thank you!

Sometimes when in faced with a tasting menu I can feel overwhelmed but this was so beautifully judged in terms of the food and pacing that I ate every mouthful. The service was unstuffy and the sommelier impressive. It was also so good to have so many wines by the glass.

It is a shame we did not see the house during the day as I expect it would look stunning. The whole experience was great. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food and wine were excellent. Favourite was the duck. next time we will stay over at the hotel. Such a great history.

Absolutely fabulous meal. Each course of the tasting menu was beautifully presented and completely delicious. The test of a tasting menu for me is to arrive at the end of it satisfied, but not over full. This was exactly how we felt tonight. We wish we had stayed overnight as the building looked historic and full of character. We also could have spent more time reading through the massive wine list and then enjoying a bottle (or two). The service was unobtrusive and efficient and the sommelier was very helpful and knowledgeable- he brought us a couple of glasses of lovely wine. We hope to return.
