Avani - Speisekarte

Very enjoyable and really nice service. The manager gave us great recommendations and proactively asked us to consider switching some of the dishes to ensure we get the best mix of flavours and tastes. Will definitely be returning!

I have been to Avani a few times have generally had a good experience. However, this time, the restaurant had no record of my booking had to move another group of diners in order to accommodate us. My lamb saag was mostly sauce some of the little lamb that was there was gristle inedible. The service was slow arrogant throughout the staff didn't seem interested in any negative feedback.

we were in this restaurant several times and every time it gets better. this time I asked for a huh bhuna that was not on the menu and the chef kindly made out of the scratch, despite really busy in the kitchen, the aromen of all the dishes we have tried were tasty service is also really good. it is a little expensive, but it is a fine dining room curry restaurant and not to compare with their normal way! I have been regularly at avani, since it was opened under new property unfortunately, the standards seem to have slipped. the quality of some meat, especially lamb, is no longer so good that some dishes are now more sauce than meat. the service that was always slow, to part because I think they cook dishes from scratch has deteriorated casual arrogant. Too bad that there is such a lack of decent restaurants in radlett.

This time I requested for a chicken Bhuna which wasn't on the menu and the chef kindly made from scratch, despite being really busy in the kitchen, the flavours of all dishes we've tried have been delicious- service is also really good. On the whole a good evening with good food which was a little on the pricey side. Having eaten there before about a year ago and thought the food very tasty and different from the norm I was somewhat disappointed. My lamb was nothing like I had before and certainly not tender. Don't know if chef has changed. My son has informed me that takeaways not good would we return not sure. Staff welcoming and attentive but food not amazing compared to first visit!

I returned with two friends on Saturday and our experience was less good. They had a big party and so understandably they had less time. We had pompodums rather than starters and so judged on mains and veg. The vegetable portions were too small and we wished we had ordered more food-very unusual for an Indian where one usually over orders! The peshwari was not nearly as nice as earlier in the week. Overall my second visit was disappointing.
