My boyfriend eats here regularly and took me there recently to share how wonderful the food is with me ....he is a big time curry lover and I was very pleasantly surprised at how yummy the food was too.....Will defo go back again and recommend to anyone who asks where they would suggest for an Indian. The restaurant itself is dated but you didn't come here for the tablecloths. I had a vegan biriani and a saag aloo. My wife had chicken tikka masala and mushroom rice. We were both very happy with the food and service. We were the only ones in so I guess its more about deliveries than sit in dining. Very good food! First impressions are that this is a fairly unassuming restaurant from the outside and similar inside. The the food however was excellent and the 'bring your own ' policy for drinks meant the bill was far lower than it would otherwise have been. The service was very friendly too. If I could leave zero stars I would. Took hours to arrive. Popadoms smelt like mould and damp, rest of the food smelt burnt grease and damp. Smell was so putrid I couldn’t eat it to add insult to injury they forgot one of the main dishes, absolute shambles. Don’t even waste your time if you’re wanting a vegan/vegetarian curry. We ordered a takeaway to be delivered this evening, paid over £50 including delivery for a cold chicken tikka masala, greasy rice and a frozen cheese and melted chocolate macarons. We ordered papadoms with chutneys but only received the chutneys. After repeatedly trying too call the restaurant back to complain they turned the phone off and so did the delivery driver. I will definitely not be ordering from this s**t show of a take away again. Meal type: Dinner
