Came here to see my friend I used to work with. Food was beautiful, Service was amazing, Annie was an amazing waitress, really attentive. Love the place, definitely recommend, we will be back for sure well done! Annie you are the best!

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. The knives and forks were all dirty. Sevice took over an hour to deliver the food. When the food finally came out it was cold and over cooked. I wouldn't return, which is a shame as it used to be a nice place to eat Speisekarte ansehen

We decided to dine at the Haywain because it is conveniently located next to the Premier Inn. We had made a reservation with the hotel reception, which turned out to be a great decision. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the service was excellent. The menu had a wide selection, there were some good value meal deals, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Overall, it was a fantastic meal.

Came here to celebrate Mums 83rd Birthday the first one after loosing my dad and husband to my Mum. Was served by waitress Daisy who went above and beyond to make it special for my Mum. We had the roast which was delicious and cooked by Lloyd the chef! Followed by a lovely dessert! Nothing was too much trouble for Daisy who was so busy serving other customers too. Thanks to all for a lovely birthday afternoon.

I recently dined at The Haywain and decided to try their ribs. Unfortunately, they were different from what I remembered - they were very spicy and hot, lacking the barbecue flavor I was expecting. The fries were also a bit too hard for my liking. I asked if I could have a different meal and the waitress, Ellie, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The manager even waived the charge for the ribs I couldn't eat, which I appreciated. Although I only rated the meal 3 out of 5, Ellie's exceptional service truly made my experience much better. We had a family meal of 12, 5 adults and 7 children.. We had a table for 6:30pm and the table was ready and waiting for us. Both managers Karen and Neil welcomed us with a smile and took their time to great our entire party. The food was lovely, steaks came out exactly how we asked, double crunch burger cooked really well also. Sue, couldn’t fault her, she was amazing, went above and beyond, taking her time to chat to us and make us feel comfortable. The staff on a whole were brilliant, they all smiled and made time to talk to us even though we wasn’t on their section! Would really recommend!

Today we had a fantastic breakfast experience at this restaurant! We are regular customers, but today was exceptional. When we arrived, the restaurant was fully booked with only two waitresses and a hostess managing everything instead of the usual 5 or 6 staff members. It was a bit chaotic, but the service was outstanding. The waitresses were constantly busy taking orders, delivering food, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food was cooked quickly and arrived hot, thanks to the hardworking kitchen staff. We were expecting some delays due to the busy restaurant, but there was none. Disgusting meal. Went for the Valentines menu. Had to wait over half an hour to be told there was no roast potatoes . So went for chips. Waited another 15 minutes until it finally arrived. What a disappointment!!!. The pastry was soaked in gravy and therefore was like wet cardboard and the steak was tough to cut. Sent it back and waited again for just a steak but in the meantime my husband had finished his. So the second steak came but it was well done and I had asked for it to be medium to well done and the chips looked like they had been sitting in the kitchen for ages. Vile meal .
