Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff. Food was excellent and served in a timely manner. Nice selection of dishes drinks on the menu. We will return.

I don't know why Black @Blue restaurants don't say so, but this restaurant is closed and has been for months. We've seen all the chairs, tables etc being removed so it obviously isn't going to reopen either. I'm sorry we had excellent meals there with a top-class staff.

Aftera long train ride to London was looking for a quick bite in Notting Hill and stumbled on Black Blue. Was given a table by the window to enjoy the people watching and ordered a burger and fries with a cold beer. Food was served quickly and the wait staff was very helpful with tips around the area. Would definitely stop back here again

Did some research on trip advisor ,found this restaurant with good reviews and decided to give it a try . Was also just few minutes walk from our hotel so looked perfect for us.We were a party of four people and we were not disappointed . We ordered steaks and fish and all was good. Desserts were also delicious . If in London will be back.

After not being able to get a table for dinner at a nearby pub, we were headed back towards the Notting Hill Gate tube stop and came across it. No diners were inside, but the menu looked good. The staff was friendly and the service was good. My wife had salmon and I had a chicken breast. Both were very good. I felt the prices were very reasonable for a London restaurant with good portion sizes.

Four of us enjoyed a family get together on a Monday night. We had a booth table, perfect for the four of us to chat, restaurant wasn’t too busy. Staff were very friendly, food was really well cooked and presented. Prawn and chicken satay starters both really good. Steak frites really good value (asked for peppercorn sauce, which was no trouble and not charged for), ribs very much enjoyed. Super Languedoc red wine, excellent value. Not a super fancy pants place, but a worthwhile upgrade on Cote. Lots to choose from on menu and a good wine list. Will be back!

I have been dining and lunching at Black Blue for more than fifteen years and it has never disappointed, including today. Our Cote de Boeuf steak for two (600g, £42) was a bargain, given that it includes two portion of fries, different sauces and large salad. The quality of meat was superb, accurately cooked medium rare, and we chose to accompany it with three grilled prawns, also expertly grilled with garlic sauce to go with, making this a surf and turf heaven, with a great presentation. I visited this restaurant with my wife on 17/10/19 and this was our second visit. Eventually we were heading to the Royal Albert Hall for a concert but decided to use this restaurant as we had found it very nice on a prior visit. The restaurant is just around the corner from Notting Hill Gate underground station. Very convenient. Firstly, the staff are very attentive and polite without being obtrusive. Several waiters served us during this visit and all were excellent. We both chose the king prawns with garlic sauce as starters. The prawns were very impressive and tasty.
