Brasserie L'Insolite

After 45 minutes just driving is arrived ... plates are just salad and tartare so no cooking needed ... sorry but that kills the whole nice atmosphere ????

The service staff is very friendly and the the food is not super expensive. It has a chic atmosphere and we decided to eat there twice on our stay in Provence. Always ask for the specials.

Nice location Took the tartare d'ailleurs That was super. I couldnt eat the fries. Not crispy at all. Only cooked 1s Kids burgers where just basic . Nothing special. Service was super friendly Speisekarte ansehen

New brasserie to dine or have lunch in style ... food is average nothing expensive but nothing great... food is not the best from the brasserie ambiance and look are the main interests. Service okay no more.

Didn't look too tempting but they had a table. We are very glad they did as we had a very pleasant and reasonably priced lunch. Good ingredients and generous portions with well priced local wines. We left happy.

Food is great, ambience is lovely, staff are very attentive and are always willing to try and find you a table when you havent booked. Would recommend this place to anyone (and Lourmarin in general is just perfect!) Speisekarte ansehen

We stumbled upon this restaurant and sat outside underneath the sweeping vines of honeysuckle enjoying the sweet scent and and listening to the trickling water. Service was great, food even better and the price very reasonable. For 4 people we left paying 69Euro including a bottle of wine!

We visited here with some locals, so not sure if we got special treatment or not. It was a cold winter night with no outside seating, but the inside was buzzing and a wonderful atmosphere.Clearly popular with the locals.The food was fantastic with rave reviews from everybody in our party of 9.Steak Tartar was particularly popular with the Veal a close second.

Found the L'Insolite whilst wandering through. the streets of Lourmarin. Welcoming waiters, who got us seated and drinks all very efficiently. The restaurant has an Italian theme but has a wide choice from Pizza, to steak some fish dishes etc. We both decided on the Moules Gratinée as a starter which were very good and I selected a tuna fish steak which I enjoyed as it was cooked just how I liked it. My husband chose a large salad but found it to be quite rich as it consisted of various meats and pates. Service was good just the right pace. A pleasant meal but nothing remarkable.
