Café Des Musées - Speisekarte

We have eagerly awaited dinner reservations at Cafe des Musees - our favorite Paris eatery in our 2016 trip.

Sparse with people, and with good reason from this experience, food was very ordinary.....bisque was something else. Staff did their best and were friendly, but food and ambiance let them down.

c is the summer and I had taken dishes without meat: mixed with girolle and veggie plate c was very good one of the friends to take the fries entrecôte: generous portion the frame and the service are impeccable I recommend

recently taken over the museum coffee shop finds its particular cachet. happy to see the chef dai again in the furnace and to see with what professionalism and goodness of heart we are received in this well-known establishment of the marsh. the whole team is available so that you will have a very pleasant time. We went to dinner, it's a nice place with a small terrace in the center of the husband. He was recommended to us and we loved him. We ordered two main dishes and a dessert to share, a beef steak with a sauce that they serve very rich but very normal meat, but when the steak tartare arrived. they dress it in front of you, to your spicy taste, and this spectacular! One of the best, if not the best, and I've tried a lot of it. the two main dishes, tiramisu to share with a beer and water for 56 euros.

a little worried about reading some recent reviews published in tripadvisor I had hesitated for a moment before returning Monday evening to this good table in my neighborhood. However, I trained a friend there and told me that if there had been a recent "ownership change" I would still have noticed. and there, as usual a good evening with good quality dishes (it is not high gastronomy but it is quite pleasant) and a nice loire wine. all for a reasonable addition and with a smiling and attentive service. (we weren't there tonight, but I recommend the quieter downstairs in the evenings of great affluence). So the museums remain one of my canteens and again this shows that it is necessary to be...

It's a given that restaurants the world over consider it their inalienable right to overcharge for a New Year's menu, but they should at least manage to make the food pleasant. Unfortunately, only one of six dishes for the two of us made the cut;...the poularde was excellent fowl, with deboned portions of dark meat held together with a forcemeat of the white meat, reassembled in a cylinder, wrapped in skin, roasted and sliced into lovely pucks, served over excellent mashed potatoes and then lavished with deeply flavored morel cream sauce, with lots of succulent morels. The other main was a forgettable filet de beouf, properly cooked, but served with only a tiny portion of the bernaise sauce... Speisekarte ansehen
