"We spent the day at the beach and decided to eat here and it was a success. The gofio portion is abundant and with a lot of flavor of fish broth, it was delicious. We ordered a barbecue for two people that comes very complete with a variety of seafood and fried fish. The place was full but we were served very quickly since the staff seems well organized and agile."

"This restaurant is in one of the most privileged places of strongventura, more specifically in the village of the playitas. enough parking. you can eat on the terrace or inside in the large dining room you have. It's very clean, both the restaurant and the bathrooms. the very simple decoration. all exquisite and with good presentation. affordable prices. the staff very friendly and attentive. speed in getting the command and serving the food. Good atmosphere."

"Great food, we had 3 veg dishes which we're all very tasty and nicely presented on a stove to keep them warm. The papadum and sauces it came with we're such a nice surprise and we loved the onion dip which I haven't seen anywhere before. Friendly and attentive service and the location by the beach right on the promenade is hard to beat."

"Absolutely disgusted at the service tonight. We arrived around 8 and waited about thirty minutes for a table which was fine however they did seem to be favouring locals and giving them tables even though we waited longer. The day before we went and asked if you had to reserve and they said no it’s first come first serve so this seemed odd and biased. When we were eventually sat we were sat at a table for 6 even though there was 3 of us which we dismissed as poor planning. About 5-10 minutes later we were asked to move as we hadn’t reserved and someone who was waiting longer had arrived which seemed entirely unreasonable when the waitress had already sat us and given us the menus. Unfortunately none of the staff could speak much English and we only speak a little Spanish. We were disgusted at being thrown off our table after waiting so long after being told there were no reservations when there clearly were. We left after five minutes of waiting for another table as we didn’t want to give them our custom. Chaotic booking system and disgusting customer service. AVOID!! It’s a shame as we came a few years ago and it was lovely. In response to the owners response: You should make it clear in the window or online that there is a waiting list as were told there wasn't one. Also we were sat down at the table by the waitress she didn’t call a name she asked how many people we were and sat us down. This was then disgraceful and frustrating when we were asked to move because the waitress had already given us the table and then changed her mind when she made the mistake we weren’t on the list. At no point was it made clear we should be on a list lots of people were waiting outside for a table and regardless that someone was already on the list it was unfair to make us move when it was the mistake of the waitress. We were fed up of waiting and very angry at the service which is why we chose not to wait any longer. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"We always visit this restaurant when we are in Gran Tarajal. Nothing is too much trouble for the chef and his wife, who are the owners. My allergies and vegetarian diet are well catered for and I always have a delicious meal. The menu gives a good range of dishes, specialising in sea food. The “catch of the day” is a particular favourite of my partner. They also serve a very nice Tiramisu dessert. Importantly, their prices are very reasonable. If you are staying in or near Gran Tarajal, this is a restaurant worth visiting. We wouldn’t miss it."
