"Don’t bother if you have any dietary restrictions. There were five of us looking for brunch, walked in to an almost empty cafe, to ask about whether they offer gluten free options. As soon as I said the word gluten there was an immediate shake of the head and a “no”. Totally uninterested in accommodating dietary needs and clearly didn’t want our business. There are many regular breakfast items that are GF, (bacon, hash browns, eggs etc), but presumably they just couldn’t be bothered with any hassle. If you’re looking for somewhere that will cater, go to the Grumpy Cook just round the corner. Giving two stars as seems unfair to give one when we didn’t actually eat in there."

Fantastic breakfast, good portion size and cooked to perfection. The Weiner was very impressive!! Perfect for a Sunday morning hangover. Will definitely be back on my next visit to Hastings.

I had a delicious cheese omelette with generous servings of chips and beans at this restaurant. The staff was efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. I would definitely recommend it.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. If I lived in or near Hastings, I would definitely frequent this place. We ordered 6 different dishes, all of which were cooked perfectly and served quickly. A great dining spot. Speisekarte ansehen

Asked for a cheese salad baguette I’ve got yesterday’s warmed up chewy soft baguette, cheap packet, white tasteless cheese, one slice of tomato and a shredded piece of lettuce no cucumber no onion no anything that would contribute towards the salad not good quality at all

Disappointing experience today, will not be returning. Previously received table service, cafe is quiet today, sat awkwardly waiting to be served then ordered at counter. ‘Sometime we serve, sometimes not’ she said. Unfortunately I did not have telepathic powers today. She made me get own drink, had to ask for glass. Had lovely breakfast, not cheap though. Then…3 people come in and get table service and a smile! No questions asked. No waiting for them. I am very upset and tbh take this quite personally. Face does not fit. Plenty of other cafes I will go to in the future. Not this one.
