On holiday and fancied a Thai meal and must say I was not disappointed at this place , the food was absolutely superb and tasty , great service and atmosphere I would suggest to anyone .

Both food and service were perfect. We had ribs,dumplings and tempura prawns to start and beef penang and chilli seafood for mains. Service was perfect and all reasonably priced. Keep it up.

We have been with family to celebrate a birthday in the restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful. Although the restaurant was busy we were served promptly and efficiently.

We visited on Thursday evening. We had a warm welcome and soon settled into choosing our food with a bottle of wine. The starters and main meals were served promptly and were hot and very tasty. The staff are very courteous and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and great food. No faults at all.

After hearing about the reviews, we decided to try this Thai restaurant since we love Thai cuisine. We were blown away by how delicious the food was. The exceptional service and the bustling atmosphere of the restaurant truly speaks for itself. The prices were very reasonable, making it great value for money. I highly recommend this place.

We’ve passed this Thai many times and always wanted to give it a try. We visited on a busy Wednesday evening when they were serving their buffet, but we chose A la cart. The menu is extensive, the food nicely cooked and the 4 dishes we had tasted nice, with no over-powering flavours. Portions are very small (epitomised by the tiny, useless napkins), especially the rice, which makes the meal expensive. The all-you-can-eat buffet represents better value at £20 pp.

My wife and I went to Chai Yo for the first time on a Tuesday evening in late October. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, and we chose duck in crispy pancakes and butterfly prawns as starters, and garlic chicken and sweet and sour king prawns for our main course. We also ordered rice and noodles. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The drinks menu was limited, with only 175ml or 250ml glasses of wine available. The dry rose and Pinot Grigio were both very tasty.

This was our second time in the restaurant, the food was once again very good, but the service times were shocking. We waited 1hr 40mins before our mains arrived, one of our party of 8 left with her son before the food arrived because he couldn’t wait any longer. We just kept being told “it’s coming now” when it clearly wasn’t. Also, others who arrived after us somehow got served before us. Such a shame as we regularly go to Sheringham and love Thai food, but it really spoiled everyone’s evening. At least one other table near us waited even longer than we did.

This Thai restaurant located in the heart of Sheringham is excellent! We ordered takeout from here twice and were very happy with the food both times. The dishes were freshly prepared and cooked beautifully, with just the right amount of heat and spices, and the vegetables retained their crunchiness. When we went to pick up our orders, the staff were polite, friendly, and super efficient. The restaurant itself looked cozy and comfortable, and was busy while we waited for our food. The prices are very reasonable and the wait time for takeout orders was very quick.
