This is a traditional sports bar with a nice selection of beers. The staff is friendly and quick. There are plenty of TVs so you can stay up-to-date with all the current sporting events.

Great little pub for sporting events and catching a bite nice clean service is good I like the wings with a few ciders good to see pubs still around and happy to go here and have a few bevvies at lunch Speisekarte ansehen

I recently went to Champs with my girlfriend to grab a few drinks and watch some football. I thought the service was excellent, the drinks and food were reasonably priced, and the portions of food were generous. The bar was clean, as were the restrooms. I would definitely go back to Champs if I'm in the Ilford area again.

Popped in on my lunch break, it was quiet but still had a good atmosphere. I plan to return as the food was nice for the price (I highly recommend the halumi) and the service was friendly and attentive. Plus I saw them making cocktails and they were using fresh fruit rather than those nasty syrups and I NEED to have a go when I don't have to go back to work.

Champs is a short walk from Ilford Station. I have visited a few times with various groups. I had the Fish Fries (Sole Goujons coated in salt and pepper crumb served with skin on Fries and tartare sauce £7.75). The food was surprisingly good. I've been to a few of their disco nights and thoroughly enjoyed them. I hate the fact they have cameras in the ladies toilets as it feels intrusive. Speisekarte ansehen

I have been frequenting Champs bar since it first opened. Previously known as Maguires, I was a regular customer. The food is nice with a good selection from an extensive menu. I highly recommend the chicken wings or burger with fries. The décor is lovely, giving off a sports bar vibe. They have a late license with a DJ playing until 3am on weekends. The staff is friendly and they also have a pool table. It's just a 3-minute walk from Ilford station.

Popped in on my way home from work, quite fancies one of their alcoholic ice cream floats but was disappointed. Half the glass was full of ice which is not needed what with the ice cream. Added to this I waited a very long time for the starter I ordered, only for the main to turn up. Was informed that bar staff had not heard me ask for the starter, but at this time of the evening about 5.30 it was neither busy nor noisy, so poor excuse. Chilli was too hot, could have done with sour cream. Condiments limited to ketchup vinegar salt and pepper. All-in-all ok, but nothing special.

Well where do I start. When i came lots of tables reserved but I got one table which wasn't reserved.i was told I might have to move if gets too busy but I was promised to get little table booked for myself.btw the guy was very rude. Then by the end of the game after 80 mins when the place was fairly busy the guy came and said I have to go after buying whole bottle wine because they need table for big group. There was a guy sitting by himself on next table and noone asked him to move both staff members .So he asked me to move when I told him that he promised me a lil table before but he didn't care !!
