disappointed with table position cold caught and a male worker who crashed back and forth along the corridor always in a hurry made us restless, as not relaxing. while my sons eat and mine were good, the head of my wife was cold. not our best experience in a restaurant we have visited a lot about the years.

Clos Maggiore must be the most romantic restaurant in London. My partner fell in love with it immediately. Then we ate the best meal, drank fabulous wine topped off by perfect service. Staff were perfection personified. Am I overdoing it? The only way to find out is to go there. We shall certainly be back. Fab place.

clos maggiore is such a beautiful restaurant. the service was amazing, the personal was very professional and friendly. that was delicious. I ordered a bottle of champagne to make for my son who came to the restaurant after our departure for a late dinner, and the staff was very helpful to make sure it was arranged. I look forward to coming back soon.

In my entire experience of dining out for 25 years, I have never been treated so poorly specially when celebrating a special occasion. The guy with no manners that took our order literally snatched the menu from my wife’s hand when we didn’t opt for the tasting menus. They don’t seem to respect that one may not be hungry to have a big meal. We waited forever to get our orders and we were working on our main course when a waiter informed that we had to leave in 20 mins as our time was up. Please go anywhere else than giving these disrespectful clowns your business. No shortage of great dining establishments in London.

We simply had a superb time! The ambience was amazing wonderfully decorated for Christmas with an open fire blazing and we were sat in a corner with full view of the tasteful room. We went for the pre theatre menu and chose different things to allow a taste of both as my beau can never decide on one thing (this makes her truly special btw)! The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing with the truffle mash caressing one's taste buds in a most enjoyable way. The service was polite and attentive and the visit was a wonderful start to the evening which ended in us and friends watching the Royal Ballet's 60th anniversary performance from a box (sublime).
