Moved to Bishopsteignton 18 months ago. Have eaten here on many occasions both for lunch dinner. Atmosphere is amazing, the hosts provide professional service and quality meals. Top marks to Emma Andy

This restaurant is awful. The food is low quality and poorly prepared, and the employees are disrespectful and indifferent. It's no wonder why the restaurant is never busy. If it weren't for the hotel part of the establishment, this place would have closed down a while back.

We went for lunch with a group of 8 people. Each of us ordered different meals and we all enjoyed what we had chosen. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This was not our first visit and we have never been disappointed. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable. Thank you for a wonderful lunch from all of us.

We stayed at this restaurant for one night and everything was perfect. The staff, food, and lodging were exceptional. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and took care of us before we had to leave for a funeral in the morning. Thank you so much for everything and we will definitely return. The dinner and breakfast were the best meals we have had in a while.

We stayed for a few nights with various family members over Easter, whilst visiting family in the area. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean and brilliant options for breakfast. We ate as a large group at the hotel two nights and were fortunate to be there on a French night. The food and service was exceptional. Well done to Emma and her team, no doubt we'll be visiting again in the future.

We recently stayed at this hotel for the 4th time and once again, we were extremely satisfied. Emma and her staff are always willing to go above and beyond to ensure guests have a pleasant stay, and their service is always accompanied by a smile. Despite the hot weather during our stay, Emma made sure that fans were provided for all guests, which was a much appreciated gesture. The food at the hotel was delicious and there was plenty of it. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We have always enjoyed the high-quality food at The Cockhaven, but had not yet tried their Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and efficient as usual, and the roast dinners were fantastic. We ordered the Roast pork and roast turkey, both of which came in generous portions with large Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, carrots, broccoli, and extra gravy. We unfortunately didn't have room for dessert, but we did buy some delicious sourdough loaves made by the landlord Andy on-site. Overall, I highly recommend this pub for its great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food.

Lovely menu with extensive options for me who doesn’t eat meat. All too often, there is only one fish dish (usually fish and chips and a couple of veggie options if I’m lucky. The menu at the Cockhaven Arms however meant I was spoiled for choice. I chose garlic king prawns which were delicious. Even the new potatoes they came with tasted lovely-how I remember them from my childhood, rather than the tasteless things you get from the supermarket these days.
