Really lovely pub, great decor with a very good selection of food and real ales. Definitely worth a visit.

Food is top draw, excellent wine options. Service is the pinnacle, so polite and professional youd think you were in a high end restaurant, not a warm, cosy neighbourhood bar. Favourite pub in Newcastle

this is our local pub and it is a cracking pub, great pints, service always on place. always shortening worth for money! eating is good hearty pub-grub! the addition of fried chicken is ideal for a bar snack. the goujons are huge! Speisekarte ansehen

the first time I was in this pub as it changes from the spittal, after my sister immersed and I came back from the hoppings, had a nice time beautiful atmosphere 2 beautiful polite young men who only went for a pint 4 pints later, we would recommend this pub xx

Ordered from World Of Wings which I think is in the Cosy Dove? Fantastic wings and fries, plenty of flavour and real meaty wings. I had the Korean BBQ wings which is highly recommend. I ordered via Uber Eats and the food arrived in 30 minutes which you cannot fault. Wouldn’t think twice about orders ring from here again.

the pub was nice and quiet and the staff very friendly. there were two vegan options on the Sunday menu that was nice to see. I had the homemade nut roasts, but it was a little disappointing it came with boiled veg (green beans, carrots and brokkoli), 3 roast potatoes and gravy. alternative cuts such as roasted veg or cauliflower can have been a nice supplement, especially since the price was only 1 less than the meat option that was served with many circumcisions Speisekarte ansehen
