Cote Bistrot - Speisekarte

My wife and I went here for our last night in La Tranche Sur Mer. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, it was well prepared and well presented. The service was good and the prices reasonable, particularly for a tourist area. The restaurant was comfortable, clean and attractively decorated. I would highly recommend it.

Just had lunch here, I had the plat du jour, sardines and potatoes beautifully cooked followed by a chocolate mousse and coffee for just €13. My wife had chicken Caesar salad that was huge, followed by a magnificent 3 storey 3 course desert.The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and the service efficient.Well done.

Went here with a friend on a Thursday night. The food was great. I ordered foie gras as starter and the entrecote as main. Both were well prepared, also the entrecote was medium rare as requested.The staff was not that friendly, als their English were too bad. Friend received a different starter than ordered, and we had problems with paying by card.

I visited because it was recommended. Staff is very helpful, even invited me to sample two wines to enable a better choice. Starter was interesting and good. Main course was a pot with three types of fish and a prawn, on sauerkraut and potatoes. The fish was overcooked, which made it dry. The chef either did not realise it, or did not care what he served. I can't decide which of these is worse....

A wonderful warm (sat next to a wood burning stove) and freindly restaurant. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely ambiance, decorated with a lot of thought. Food was absolutely divine, menu offered some really nice origonal meals. I had Cuttlefish with linguine, really tasty. A wonderful variation on the tiramisu with pear and honey finished our meal perfectly. Cant wait to have the opportunitybtoneat there again.

After being turned away from another restaurant (which we'd booked) we were not very happy. However, we asked and they had a table for 6 thankfully. VERY helpful friendly staff, particularly with my daughter who has food allergies. All 6 meals we ordered were lovely, and my parents liked the wine. Also nice to have a menu with a different range of food rather than moules et frites and everything else with chips! (Although their chips were very tasty!). Recommended.

We enjoyed our meal here so much, we came back 3 days later. The fish of the day was sea bream and it was delicious. My husband had beautifully cooked brochettes. The meat was very tasty a D the fried were lovely. My son had the curried moules. They were so good, we had them when we went back. The meals were very good value. Service was great. My school French is not good but we could make ourselves understood with no trouble and the owner's son speaks very good English. I highly recommend this place.

The menu that day was a starter of black pudding with a hint of fennel served on a crispy crepe nest with salad. This was well presented and tasted delicious.The main course was entrecôte steak with chunky fries ( a nice change from the usual skinny French frittes). All the steaks were cooked as we requested, which was an extra bonus as our experience is that it is rarely achieved.The desert was a chocolate mouse roulade with chantilly, also delicious.Whilst the staff weren't fluent in English they did make a good effort to communicate...

Wandered around La Tranche, looking for somewhere for lunch and we stumbled upon this place at the end of the Rue de Plage at the end of the car park. If you're driving head for the town square, exit in the SW corner. Straight on at the mini roundabout, then turn left 50 meters later signposted P for parking.
