visited with my adult daughter we were once a year ago and enjoyed it at both places. the eating was good and the personal friendly and answered asking to the dressed overall enjoyed and would go again.

every time we had a takeaway or have inaugurated at curry mahal, the quality of the food was excellent. they have a great menu and eating is reasonably expensive. the restaurant itself is clean, with a welcoming atmosphere and the service is always. friendly and professional. curry mahal never disappointed. We always get takeout food from Curry Mahal , food is always excellent, best Indian food we’ve tasted, they used to be in pettswood and we followed to sidcup when they moved , even though we live in Bromley. order online on Saturday and wait almost minutes. when I collected the order, I asked the waiter to check everything in the bag. he looked at the order and said yes. fortunately it was only the herbal samosas and not a main dish, but irritating never less. rang a few times to inform the restaurant, but no answer. the food was very good (as usual), but there is really no excuse for missing items from the order, even if they were short staff due to illness. This place appears to have changed hands. For sure the change of ownership has freshened things up. Really friendly and accommodating staff, and thoroughly delicious food make Curry Mahal somewhere we will continue going back to time and again. Also... we seem to go for dinner when a family had booked a birthday Karaoke night in there. Was a great laugh and made the night for us. Food was nice but there was mistakes with the order sheek kebab not shami and the worst thing popadoms ordered but all missing sauces and chutneys were there but pointless without the popadoms, can’t remember the last time I had a curry without them....Also order a cobra as curry not the same without and nice to see they offer it, but was warm taken straight from the box not the fridge so couldn’t drink with my meal disappointing, but I must say all the food was nice with great flavour a little To much oil though

New owners have ruined a great restaurant. I'm local and have been eating in and having take away for 10+ years, never had such poor service or food as tonight. The staff made several mistakes with our order, and when I took the order back they refused to accept their mistake despite the very clear evidence of completely wrong dishes! On top of that the food we did have was really poor quality. This used to be a great place to eat, but the combination of rising prices, poor service and now wrong orders means we won't go again.
