We visited this restaurant in early August and found it to provide a memorable experience. Baldissero is not far from Torino but you will need a car to get there. The flavours of the food provided were wonderful but quite rich. Not sure what I actually had because my son in law who is Italian did the ordering but whatever it was tasted great. Portions were more than adequate and the service was very good. We certainly had good value for money about 25 Euros per head including wine. An apperitivo that we had to start with was not charged for. If you want fine Italian cuisine at a reasonable cost and in a delightful setting give this restaurant a try. I doubt that you will be disappointed.

Main courses were very dissapointing the mixed fries were good but wouldn’t go out of my way for them So why did I give them a 4* rating, because of the service which is something to mention. I ordered a bottle of wine out of a long list, apparently it was a bubbling red wine which I didn’t like nor planned to drink for dinner, they took the bottle away without a word and brought a new one and much better one. The mixed fries also includes fried fruit, which for some reason they brought to the table before the main course, when the waiter saw that we weren’t touching it he took it back to the kitchen, and said he will bring us a fresh one when we are done with the main course. for the first time, despite being a torino, we had lunch in this historic Piedmont restaurant. We went for Saturday lunch with friends and I have to say it was an excellent experience. We were in friends with a wheelchair and the first thing I have to say and that the room is easily accessible also for those with reduced mobility, architectural barriers are not there, the internal parking can contain a dozen cars but nearby there is a large free parking. But we come to the reason for lunch here, the fried mixed Piedmontese, special and delicious, not unto.
