Food and service amazing. I highly recommend. The naan bread is divine. I tried the Desi special this time and was not disappointed. All the food here is always good.

The food here is amazing and the staff are so welcoming. It's the best Indian restaurant in the area by far!! If you want a nice Indian, go here you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely stunning food and a huge choice of dishes on the menu. The Desi Murgh and Lamb Nihari are divine. Fantastic ambience and a really nice vibe. You can see why people go back time and time again. Fabulous hospitality and all the staff go above and beyond to look after you. Excellent service all around. we was looking for somewhere where we had not been before and stumbled across desi lounge and friends recommend it when we mentioned we was going. Great friendly staff and very knowledgable. loved the banter from the manager and the owner helped my wife down the steps leaving as she was on crutches. Beautiful food, great atmosphere and we highly recommend it to all our friends. next time we will get a taxi so I can have a drink. Speisekarte ansehen

Visited this restaurant on Saturday for the first time. I ordered the prawn Korma which was very plain and looked more like a tin of yellow soup with the smallest prawns I've ever seen in an Indian curry. The garlic nann was not nice,all cut up,very greasy and undercooked. I have had many Indian meals and cook my own,and this unfortunately was the worse I've had. The waiters were also quite cheeky and not at all witty like they thought they were. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We first came here the day it opened or very shortly after about 10 15 years ago and was not impressed, we have recently been back a couple of times and it was better than I remember, but still nothing special. The place is fine and does what it says on the tin, the food is very pedestrian, my go to tester dish of lamb Madras was ok and all in all the food was ok, quite clean tasting, but no highlights. Is there any reason we would not go back no, but I have been steadily not eating Asian food as much for a while now and this restaurant would not make me change my mind.

Friendly welcome, seated straight away. We arrived about 10 minutes before the rest of our party and our drinks order was taken immediately. As soon as the rest of our party arrived, drinks order was taken at once and we were also asked did we want popodoms etc. popodoms arrived with spiced onion, mango chutney, yoghurt and mint dip plus a fresh herb tomatoes and onion dip, which was delicious. Two of our party wanted curries that were specific to their tastes and the waiter gave their wishes to the chefs and they both said their curries were fantastic.
