D'lish Cafe Bistro - Speisekarte

This isn't really a cafe and more like a restaurant, bookings are required and walk ins are turned away.

This place is a proper hidden gem tucked away on a small retail park. Food was fresh and homemade, with really warm and friendly staff and atmosphere. Recommended highly for breakfast or lunch if in the area or nearby.

No butter on the bread,no rolls,chicken mayo was dry,over priced, and not a smile in sight… forgot the cake we ordered £20 for 3 sandwiches which had a total of 3 sausages across the 3 of them and a panini absolute joke of a place… Speisekarte ansehen

I have been to D'Lish a few times and it seems to be popular as it is usually quite busy. My sister had a baked potato with savoury cheese and salad and I had the toasted wrap with cheese savoury filling. Finished off with lattes which came with a piece of tablet. Mmm!

Menu change for the worst nearly £10 for a baguette, portion small added on coleslaw and it lucky if it had been a teaspoon, no crisps at the side as stated on menu . very very expensive, unfortunately last time I’ll be there, will need to try other places as it’s so overpriced now for what you get.

I wanted to bring to your attention a recent issue I experienced with your establishment. I received the wrong lunch order and called to speak with a manager to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the manager's attitude was shocking, and it was clear they had absolutely no training in customer service. Went to this restaurant for morning coffee and a cake with a friend. I chose a meringue which was OK, my friend chose a plain scone which was rather dry and crumbly. For these and two coffees, the bill came to £14. 95 nearly £15}. I was astounded see that I had been charged £4.95 nearly £5) for the meringue. There was no indication of this inflated price prior to ordering. Won’t be back!

Friendly warm welcome on arrival for an evening meal. Service from our waitress was great with reccomendations off the menu, which we took on board. Food was exceptional, fresh and tasty with a generous portion size! We took advantage of the set menu which had options of 2 or 3 courses. And a added extra just now, there is currently 20% off all food until 25 May 2024 (between 5pm to 8pm Thurs to Saturday. We have previously visited the bistro for lunch too which I would advise to book in advance, to prevent dissapointment. As all tables were full and I noticed walk in customers having to go elsewhere. This review is after a second occasion of a bad experience. Last month, I was in with my friend and my 4 month old who was asleep in her pram… short haired older woman muttered under her breath “why would you bring a pram in”… to which I asked the younger server (who she said it to) was she serious and did she actually just say that… to which it was then denied and she supposedly said “why is she bringing her in” apparently talking about a colleague bringing a friend into dlish later than day… 100% lies though, I know what I heard.
