Ate in the restaurant. 2 adults. 1 toddler. Sunday roasts were absolutely amazing. Best I've had in years. Large portion and choice of meats. Vegetables cooked properly. We added on extra pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese. Also had a nut roast which my other half loved. Service was really good from all staff. What a hidden gem! We decided to drop by on a Sunday in the hopes of getting a table for a Sunday roast. They not only accommodated us, but went above and beyond. With our dog accompanying us, we requested to sit in a secluded area and they arranged for us to have two tables. One was a cozy sofa by the fireplace where our dog was allowed to relax, and the other was a dinner table for two. The staff, particularly a gentleman who may have been named Rob, was fantastic. He even came over to give our dog some attention and treats. As we savored our roasts, he surprised us with a plate of rare beef and bacon for our furry friend, which we both greatly appreciated. hursley needed a decent pub for the years, I found that the competition was a alienating atmosphere and the quality of the food was bad. since hearing the dolphin had new owners I felt that I had to test it, and I must say I am 100% impressed! and I am. said the pub will also be restored in the next months! first I visited with my daughter for a dessert with just us. we were greeted in the pub and our table shown. everything was very clean and my daughter immediately fell in love with the old building and history. the menu included some good clips for children, as we all know that they are with what they eat! eating was amazing! such a high quality and quite expensive. it was made clear to t...
