Thank you for a wonderful meal of roast lamb. Our party of 10, celebrating my granddaughter's 6th birthday, all thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this lovely family pub. Even 4 hours later, I am still feeling full. -Jilly7

Booked a room for the night prior to flying. Staff helpful, friendly and arranged for transfers so we didn't have to worry. Food was exceptional and all home cooked. When we returned to collect our car we decided to eat agsin before the 2 hour drive home! We can't wait to stay again.

We had 22 guests celebrating a 70th Birthday. Lots ordered steak or mix grill. every meal came out perfectly cooked. The Steak was exactly how everyone asked for it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great Portion sizes and a very welcoming atmosphere. We will come back again soon.

We decided to have a late lunch after arriving back from holiday. What a lunch!! The steak and ale pie was the best I've had and the mash actually tasted like mash. My Husbands cod and chips was also first class. We are not local but next time at Bristol airport this will be our place of choice!

We had a wonderful afternoon being brilliantly looked after by the staff who provided our reunion with excellent cake and many cups of tea and coffee. We had an area to ourselves for a few hours it was relaxed and really enjoyable. So pleased to see many people there great for a Monday afternoon/evening when many pubs are closed.

Driving by looking for a place for dinner. Saw Caribbean food offered and ordered jerk chicken with rice n peas dumpling and slaw. Incredible. All super tasty, we lived in South London and this was better than most of the local jerk places. A suggestion to add fried plantains and/or Guinness punch but was 5 star food. Will return.

What’s happened, the takeaways used to be such good value for money. We paid £15 plus a £3 delivery charge for a delivery just around the corner. Literally a spoonful of peas, carrots, red carrots, one small parsnip and 4 small roast potatoes and three thin slices of beef on the top. Very disappointed. Used to visit all of the time, although will eat elsewhere in future.

Stayed for a night before an early flight, and paid the £8pn parking and £15 transfers. A convenient, comfortable and friendly pub. Staff were great and all details for pick up etc were sorted within 10 minutes of arriving, with some great home cooked food to boot. Nice local pub atmosphere and not noisy at all from the rooms. Will definitely use again, and would recommend.

After giving a 4-star review for our 5th order, we were disappointed to receive a half portion dish. We had ordered from this restaurant multiple times before and expected better quality. The response we received was unapologetic and accusatory, making us feel like we were at fault. The customer service needs improvement and because of this experience, we will not be ordering from them again.
