"Ayer fuimos 4 personas a almorzar. Era un día extremadamente caluroso en este valle, donde vivimos desde hace 10 años. Pero en este lugar uno sale a la hermosa sombra, come y bebe acompañado por el sonido del agua que gotea del antiguo molino de agua. Hemos estado aquí bastantes veces y siempre nos sorprende el alto nivel de la cocina en este valle tan alejado de las rutas turísticas habituales. Esta vez el Menú del día fue absolutamente increíble. Por poco dinero se consigue comida preparada con saber hacer, respeto por el producto y creatividad en el plato. Este lugar es ALTAMENTE RECOMENDABLE, la comida es EXCELENTE y el ambiente simplemente hermoso. Sin olvidar el amable personal, que está muy lejos de la poca atención que reciben en la mayoría de bares y restaurantes de esta región de Granada, conocida por su estilo brutal mallafollá . ¡Aquí no, y se siente como un bálsamo para tu alma!"

"We have visited Bar Garvi many times over the past 20 years plus, always good..Came back after a 3 year gap post covid. Even better than before! Huge covered outside space with large bar, new loos just off terrace with separate m/f, massive coolers, efficient camareros in colour codes logo Ts. Same family/ staff 20 years on. For just €12 euros we had a drink, tapas of lamb chop, good choice of starter and main (sword fish, hake, pork etc) dessert. Amazing value and service with a smile. Good to be back"

"Visited twice first for afternoon drinks and a few days later for dinner. Not easy to find and drive down a very narrow road from the bridge road (hope no traffic coming the other way). First impressions as we drove into area surrounded by trees...and what looks like a bit of a shack with some tables outside –“what are we doing here”! Those impressions were soon altered when bottles of beer arrived accompanied by sparkling clean glasses so must be a bit special! Impressive Tapas to accompany drinks, our first one was a liver dish which was remarkably tasty and not at all chewy – if intending to dine could be worth missing out on some of these and pass some time by collecting walnuts fallen from the trees equally delicious. There were five of us for dinner and as early November we ate inside but imagine would be great outdoors in summer shaded by the trees. Although menu small everyone enjoyed excellent dishes including salmon; lamb chops and broad beans with baby squids. The lady chef excelled with her desserts which were shared and demolished with gusto and accompanied by a bottle of bubbly on the house and coffees. Only open at weekends and inside quite small so well worth booking in advance – you won’t be disappointed"

"Un sitio dónde la comida es exquisita, y el trato de los/as camareros/as es muy personal y atento, y son muy simpáticos. Os cuento, el jamón asado, me lo han puesto de aperitivo, y estaba muy bueno. La ensalada de la casa, con salsa rosa, (media reacción), más que suficiente para una persona. Estaba muy buena, y con ingredientes de primera. La paletilla de cordero, todo un espectáculo, el sabor 10 de 10, felicito a la cocina, carne tierna, sin refume, y en su punto. El flan me ha encantado, es casero, y se nota en esa cubierta dura en la parte del horno, cómo los hacía mi abuela. Según mi experiencia en éste restaurante, lo recomiendo 100x100. Gracias a todas las personas que trabajan aquí, ha sido todo un placer haber comido en vuestra casa. Un saludo."
