"Turned up after making a booking on open table and were told we had only booked for 2 people then told we would have to sit in the bar even though the restaurant was half empty and instructed to get a drink from the bar while we waited. 5 minutes later we were told we did have a booking and that it was for 3 people no apology for messing us about. Then we looked at the menu and waitress came to take out order only to be told that what we wanted had run out! Dreadful place don't think I'd hurry back as some of the staff are just rude!"

This restaurant is wonderful. The food is consistently well-prepared and beautifully presented. The service is always excellent - quick, but not overwhelming.

The roast was ok but the amount of veg was sparse. The extra cauliflower cheese was rock hard!! The waitress though was on the ball. Gluten free advertised...not much. Veggie optiins...even less.

Went here for my daughters birthday meal it was very nice food very tasty and lovely fresh veg, desserts were really nice would definately recommend , service was very good and food was good value for money, will definitely be going back.

I had a positive experience at this restaurant. As a wheelchair user, I found it easy to access the premises and the staff were very helpful. The food was excellent, and we were happy with the prices. Despite the busy atmosphere, we did not have to wait long for our meal.

We were very pleased with our waitress Victoria, she was very pleasant and ensured that our meal was on time. Also I was pleased with the fact that I have a mobility scooter and you were able to find the right place and table for me, so that I could enjoy the good food and pleasant company.

The food was cooked to perfection, with my husband claiming that the broccoli he had was the best he had ever tasted in a restaurant. The staff were accommodating to my mother, who is in a wheelchair, and went above and beyond to make sure our table was accessible for her. The service was friendly and polite.

Roast dinner was ordered. 1 carrot. 3 tiny roast pots. All hidden under meat. Portions were tiny. Ordered side dish which came out after we had finished whole meal. (This was cauliflower cheese).had to ask for extra potatoes and gravy which was really salty. Price for amount was dreadful. It's ok if u dieting.service was slow and forgetful. Shame as pub was nice inside its self. Would def not go back
