"in recent years I have written a series of 5 star reviews about the punjabi tadka, as the quality of all food was exceptionally good. last night I have made my first delivery order since ende januar 2022 and was very disappointed by food quality. I will give feedback to any item in my delivery so that the owner will address what a problem with the kitchen staff or cook 1) poppadoms x 2: perfect as always 2) pink pakora sauce x2: thine runny submissive tasteless sauce. probably diluted with milk 3) chicken pakora x 2. bland coated deep fried chicken. no flavor of seasoned or cumin 4) huh bhuna x1. excessively spicy, sauce too thick and under seasoned with distinct lack of a hair 5) chicken chasni x 1. sauce was thin, much too sour, not sweet enough and under seasoned with distinct lack of han at the owners of the restaurant. the reason why they are recognized as the best Indian restaurant in east kilbride and probably the best in south lanarkshire is that they have been cooking high-quality, tasty food for years. I have written them so many 5 star reviews about the years because I realized that their team perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned foods with the best seasoned, crumble and spicy to create. inappropriate, last night meal not the 5 stars quality I have come to expect. if you want to keep their local legendary status, I suggest that you check my feedback about eating yesterday evening and have a word with whoever is their new cook, as they don't give out good food. we hope that my next order meets the 5 stars standard that I expected in the years that I am a loyal customer."

"This review is after a second occasion of a bad experience. Last month, I was in with my friend and my 4 month old who was asleep in her pram… short haired older woman muttered under her breath “why would you bring a pram in”… to which I asked the younger server (who she said it to) was she serious and did she actually just say that… to which it was then denied and she supposedly said “why is she bringing her in” apparently talking about a colleague bringing a friend into dlish later than day… 100% lies though, I know what I heard. And the guilty false niceness that followed from said woman to us spoke volumes about her embarrassment of being caught saying what she said. Went in again at the weekend there and straight away felt the negative vibes from same said woman when I walked in with the pram again…. Didn’t have a booking so said table for 2 plus the pram please. At this point there was about 4 or 5 free tables of 2 or more. She proceeded to tell me that they were fully booked for at least an hour (it was 12pm at this point). I just KNEW she was annoyed I had brought the pram in and was talking rubbish. So I called her bluff and said I was happy to wait. The look on her face said it all. 15 mins passed by, still 3 or 4 of the same tables empty, and another couple without a booking (I overheard) walked in, this is when it got interesting, younger server tells them no problem she will just get a table ready for them… so I gave a glance to which she asked me was I being served, older woman chimes in quite abruptly that I’m waiting because I’ve got the pram, but she’s trying to “sort something” for me…. All of a sudden there’s a magical table for us and at this point easily 40% of the tables are now free in the place… so where did this fully booked for at least an hour nonsense come from, she clearly was just annoyed we were in with the pram. To be honest, other than feeling like we had done something wrong by bringing in a pram, the service was terrible, so slow and as if the girls were hungover and couldn’t be bothered. We were told we could order drinks after 10mins sitting with a menu, but not food because the kitchen was busy (as I said it was 40% free tables)… when the food came (baked potato with cheese and a bowl of lentil soup) there was no side salad, just a semi hard baked potato, no butter on it, with a handful of grated cheese on top whacked on a plate. Overpriced and not worth £1. Lentil soup was nice but so so small for the price. I can assure you we won’t be back. Stand offish vibes and clearly don’t like people with prams going in, and they are happy to make that super obvious."
