Frankie Benny's New York Italian Restaurant Bar

Visited on twice over the weekend. On both occasions the food was excellent. The staff are really friendly and couldn't be more helpful.

Came in for breakfast and was served by Georgina. What an absolute gem. Had such a lovely aura around her and was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

I visited the other week with my father and we were served by a young man called Tomek. He was so helpful and professional while also having good banter with us (especially my father) He is a credit to your restaurant. He really brightened our day with his personality. Thank you again Tomek

Staff is excellent special the Izabela who served us yesterday.Was my Friend birthday so Izabela putted birthday music on and candle on my Friend's cake which was a surprise!Lovely place, food is amazing, big portions and not expensive! Excellent staff and atmosphere. Definietly will be back soon. Thanks again xxx

After such a stressful period due to Covid, my flatmates and I decided to go out for dinner and drinks for the first time in a long time! We’re so glad we picked Frankie and Benny's. The atmosphere was lovely, the tables were all clean and distanced comfortably apart. There wasn’t a single thing we could fault the food and drinks were delicious too, just what we’ve come to love about the restaurant! I cannot recommend this place and the brilliant staff there enough all so warm and welcoming. Thank you so much!

Turned up as a family of 7 (parents, 3 kids 2 grandparents). Stood at the door way (as the signs asked us to) waiting to be seen to by the staff member. Staff member came across and just looked at us, eventually said 'can I help you ' with that look of what are you doing here written across her face. We asked if we could have lunch, she said no because we were a group of 7 (understandable) so we asked if we could have 2 tables (one for the teenage kids) and one for us. She said she could only give us a table at one side of the restaurant and another table at the complete opposite side of the restaurant. We asked if we could have tables closer together. We came in for lunch yesterday as a family. Our food was lovely and the customer service we received was first class. The waiter Ellis was polite, friendly and most importantly helpful! We were able to chat too our waiter, which you don't often find in other restaurants which was lovely! During COVID times it's rather difficult too find somewhere that has as much of a positive atmosphere as Frankie and Benny's. This I feel is due to staff like Ellis being so welcoming, attentive and smiley.From the beginning until the very end, we felt welcomed and relaxed by the staff at Frankie and Benny's. Having been a regular F&B’s about 10 years ago when I was in my later teenage years, I fell out of love over the years due to changing menus and generally feeling that the food at all F&B chains had gone downhill to the point that this was my first visit in around 6/7 years. Circumstances have changed and now with a family, affordable and child friendly places to eat down Aberdeen beach are few and far between so we decided to give F&Bs a try once again. The waiting staff were lovely, so no complaint there at all. However not only was the food decidedly bland, it took an age to come to us. When it did, my BBQ Ribs portion was luke warm at best, and the added fries, corn cob and coleslaw portions were much smaller than I expected.Also, we were offered the use of a toddler seat as soon as we arrived which was much appreciated. Sadly we had to take our six month old daughter out of it shortly after, as the seat stank of stale urine, so much so that not only did it put my wife off her meal, but we had to go and change my daughters trousers as they'd picked up some of the smell.
