Food very good, location excellent and service excellent. It was quiet when we were there, which suited us well.

Just had the wings and sweet corn fritters and both were good. The rest of the menu looks great too. Nice decor and friendly service too.

Whenever I have the opportunity, I always make a point to visit the Free State. They have the best wings in town and a fantastic variety of craft beers. A visit here is definitely worth it!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for lunch, dinner, or brunch. The open kitchen adds to the atmosphere, and the staff is friendly. Don't miss out on their lovely back garden. Me and my boyfriend just had a meal there it was highly recommended to me so we just had to go and try it, and it did not disappoint, the starters where lovely and the garden was beautiful with a great vibe and great music, loved every song and the service was amazing everyone was just so nice, loved the place and will definitely be returning x

I would like to thank Kate and the staff at Free State Kitchen for the amazing Thanksgiving dinner last month. As an American visiting England, it was a special experience to celebrate my favorite holiday with a delicious mid-day feast. Free State Kitchen had everything needed for a perfect Thanksgiving, from the starter plates of bread, cheese, apples, and pumpkin soup, to the main course of turkey, stuffing, cranberries, mashed potatoes, sweet squash, green beans, and, of course, endless gravy that took us all into food heaven. The pecan pie with cream for dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. Liverpool is fortunate to have a restaurant like Free State Kitchen, and I look forward to...

A couple of my friends and I paid a visit to the wonderful Free State Kitchen in the late afternoon on a quest for burgers, beers and a wonderful outdoor seating area, a luxury that's few and far between in the city. The food was fairly overpriced causing my friend and I to split a burger and then for our gang to relocate to a different eatery for pudding but the food was really delicious. I opted for a bacon, bbq sauce, red onion and cheese burger and didn't find it too heavy in the slightest and the gin and elderflower tonic was extremely yummy.
