Fujiyama paris etoile

Good sushi, friendly service, very reasonably priced ..... Kid friendly. Very convenient if staying at Hyatt Regency Etoile.

Nice little japanese restaurant with very friendly, helpful staff, and a decent menu. And, by Paris standards, a downright bargain.

Food and service at this restaurant is great. French food in this area is pretty mundane. Thankfully this is here and great. Staff very good too. Speisekarte ansehen

What a gem this place was...so glad that I dropped in for a quick meal, the best deal in the area and the food was so fresh and perfect. Skip the trendy French places and eat here...the best in the area.

We visited Fujiyama again on our 2nd trip to Paris as it was easy walking distance from our hotel in Port Maillot. Excellent service, fresh sushi, and easy atmosphere. Perfect for a 7pm dining with our kid. Plenty of tempura, sashimi, and sushi options for any taste. Speisekarte ansehen

good value for this area, an unpretentious bistro style eatery. beef and duck bouchettes, salmon sushi and sushimi, chicken goyzas, calamari and seaweed salad, scallop tempuras, 2 small bottles of sake, 2 green teas, 2 bowls of rice and 2 miso soup came to less than 75 euro, not a bad deal at all.

My husband and I recently visited Fujiyama for dinner. We shared a sushi boat (for 2) with soup and salad and then finished with a "champagne" apertif. The meal was excellent, the sushi was fresh. We were surprised that a side of warm rice was also served with the meal and we found it an excellent addition. The champagne we ordered was actually a cognac served with ice and two cubes of sugar. I'm not much of a "neat" drinker but the ice and sugar knocked the edge of the cognac and it was a wonderful finish to an excellent sushi dinner.

Sushi looks good, reasonably generous with fish. Like much of that in U.S. a bit lacking in taste (perhaps because fish had been frozen?). Not bad, but not great if you are accustomed to high-end places. We ruined one or two pieces of fish by dipping in sauce from Yamasa soy sauce container. The sauce was actually some sort of sweet sauce. Service was friendly and efficient, which we appreciated on an evening when were suffering from jet lag. Prices for dinner which included salad, brochettes and salads were very reasonable, especially for this neighborhood. So if I could split my rating I would give three stars for the food, four for the service and value. Speisekarte ansehen
