Lovely warm welcome. Delicious Sunday lunch, we had Beef which was plentiful cooked perfectly. Sat in bar side where dogs are welcome. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Me and my partner found this little pub while staying in the area so we decided to have dinner here. The pub is very dog friendly and modern. We had fish chips and the food was amazing. Would definitely return! Speisekarte ansehen

Booked in for a family meal for the 10 of us. Fantastic service, food was top notch. Steak Night was great value. (12oz Rump with a drink for £15). Lovely relaxed atmosphere and we were able to bring our two dogs. Will definitely return.

We stopped here for 3 nights in our motorhome on their adjoining campsite , I have reviewed the campsite on another dedicated website but suffice to say it was a 5-star rating as is our rating for the pub itself the staff were courteous, attentive and welcoming from the minute we arrived until we left and the food was excellent ,serve hot and tasty all in good time Barry and Marina

Stopping locally in our motorhome we decided to go out for Sunday lunch WOW what a meal. We both had beef which was so tasty tender melt in the mouth obviously from a large joint because the slices were huge, 4 veg plus roasts mash, stuffing, chipolata Yorkshires with a dousing of delicious gravy. I have lived around Horncastle area for many a year but have missed this pub out as usually too far away but today I had a chance to visit and to be fair I loved everything about it the meal was awesome the menu was awkward to choose from as everything sounded appealing but chose the rack of ribs and was delighted with every morsel .truly lovely..not a big eater but I stuffed myself..I would recommend this gaff to anyone..I had many moons ago a Sunday dinner there and that too was excellent ..in fact I'm going tomorrow for my dinner 10/10

We booked as we had driven past and thought it looked nice, we were right, warm welcome, lovely friendly service, they were very busy with a large table that had arrived before us, but the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was worth the wait, my wife ordered butternut squash tagine, which was tasty and nicely presented, I had steak and ale pie with horseradish mash and fresh vegetables, all of which were delicious. The desserts were brought out and again were absolutely lovely, as I said although they seemed very busy the service was good and very friendly, will definitely be back next time we are in Skegness, and if your visiting the area pay a visit for the delicious food,you...

Just moved to the area and tried this pub for the first time for lunch on Friday. Booked our table in the dog friendly area of the pub. The landlord was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Ordered fish chips and pie and mash. We shared the dessert of Eaton Mess. The plates were lovely and hot likewise the food. The food was cooked by the Landlord’s wife. The fish and chips were amazing. The fish was haddock and cooked perfectly. The batter was yummy. Served with mushy peas and tartare sauce. The best fish and chips I’ve had in ages. My husband said his pie was great. The pastry was perfect and the filling was full of meat. The vegetables were cooked not crunchy. The Eaton Mess was great... Speisekarte ansehen
