absolutely amazing place. the employees are fantastic and know their jobs. eating was stunning and delicious. maybe a bit on the expensive side, but for a special occasion it is worth it.

"I had heard about this place a lot and we went for dinner. Being minded to save money we chose the 'early bird ' menu, and we were not alone in this as the place was packed. We had booked and got a table upstairs. We were, however, sort of squashed into the corner due to a very large group beside us, but at least a partition divider had been placed between them and us. It also seems there is not a great deal of ventilation in the place and although we were beside an open window, it had to be shut given the flies and – more annoyingly – wasps coming in that were hovering around us. So quite stifling. And I noted a number of flies buzzing around downstairs too. The staff were, however, very good and friendly as well as helpful. The early bird menu was good value and we chose well, I think. The steak strips in pepper sauce were not all that appealing to look at, and came more as a stew than anything else. But it tasted very good. The other dishes seemed to be pleasing and certainly worth the money."

"During our recent visit to Castle Kitchen at Galgorm Resort, we were once again disappointed with the quality of the food. Our complimentary meal turned out to be a letdown from start to finish. My chicken wings starter had dead flies in it, and the roast beef main course was tough and chewy, making it inedible. The dessert, a chocolate orange mousse, was overly sweet and lacked flavor. Despite our dissatisfaction, no alternatives were offered apart from a simple apology from a waiter. This experience was a far cry from what we had hoped for, especially considering our previous stomach issues after dining at Galgorm. We expressed our concerns with management through email, but only received another apology in response. It appears that the Galgorm Resort has declined in quality, and we advise avoiding their restaurants if you wish to avoid a similar disappointment. We certainly will not be returning."

"Rococo is one of my favorite places to dine in the city. The owners and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. I hosted my father's 60th birthday at the restaurant, and they went above and beyond to help, even picking up the cake for me from a local bakery. The food is fantastic, with a great selection for both adults and children. My personal favorite is the baked chicken, which is absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone."

"A real hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a warm smile and a friendly handshake. Both the service and food were outstanding. The traditional decor was charming, and the dining room featured the most beautiful tablecloths. Our rooms included complimentary bottles of water and glasses—something that many hotels overlook! We even had a kettle and a microwave. The garden surroundings were lovely. For breakfast, we enjoyed poached eggs from their own hens. The staff could not have been more accommodating; my daughter was getting married, and she and her bridesmaid had access to a cozy lounge near their rooms for makeup and hair preparations."

"Went to Cafe Tosca recently for lunch before going to watch the local football team in Ballymena and to be honest it was ok but I think improvements could be made to make it a bit better. First off the cafe is uniquely decorated with...an interior consisting of white walls and lots of pink chairs, so if you like pink this is the place to go. The Cornation Chicken, Pineapple Cheese toastie was very nice but I do feel a bit cheated as the side salad is very minimal considering your paying around £5 for only a sandwich and salad. I also think the cafe could look at what other cafes are doing by adding Tortilla Chips or even a big spoonful of Couscous. Overall it is around average for me but with a few more improvements I would consider it much better."
