eating and fresh baking is the best. beautiful courtesy staff. the best breakfast in the city the best donuts of all time. I'll come back here and see if I'm inverness.

American style pancakes to die for. Do not underestimate the two pancakes they were delicious. Proper thick and fluffy with bacon on top. It’s one of our family favourite breakfast spots!

the food was excellent. member of the staff coughing and sneezing behind servedheke without attempting to cover their mouth. several cream cakes were removed from the cold display cabinet for storage overnight. no gloves were worn for this process. the men. dirty waste, disgusting.

This wee gem of a place is well worth the queue to get in! First time we visited whilst staying in the city, we got In straight away. We realised the next time we went that we were just lucky!! When we returned a day...later the queue was quite long. The food is so good though and the menu is lovely! Have to say, if you go, treat yourself to one of their home baked cakes! Wow!!! The staff are all really nice too and can’t do enough to help you

my man and I came to the middle of the day when we toured the highland. my man was already in a bike holiday and wanted to eat again at this place. I could see why. the suppe we both had., (two different suppers on the specials) were perfect and the cheeks were nice and cheeky personal friendly and beautiful place. I wish we had space for a desert as they looked delicious, but we had a 3 course meal at this evening in the hotel where we were booked.

We were recommended this restaurant by the hotel we were staying at, and we are very glad they did. The service was very good (friendly) and the food delicious on each of the three occasions we visited. It's the perfect place for breakfast, brunch and...lunch; it was always popular when we went, this didn't deter the staff from providing great service at all times. It is clearly popular with the locals. As well as having an extensive menu, they have a terrific selection of homemade cakes, which are made daily. importantly, everything was good value for money. I can recommend everything in the photos. In case it's not clear, I definitely recommend this restaurant !

We arrived for breakfast and two customers were waiting in front of us. The waitresses completely ignored the queue, even though there were empty tables, but then it got worse. Having ignored us all, and stood chatting at the counter in front of us, the...older waitress, with cropped, short hair, came over and told us all to wait outside? No hello, no welcome, no sorry to keep you waiting, just an indifferent and curt tone. Needless to say, we left, and won’t be back. A shame because the cakes on the counter looked fab. A lesson in customer care, is definitely needed. I’m always so understanding of hospitality businesses, when things have been tough during covid, however, such rude behaviour...

Visited Girvans on Sunday after reading all the lovely reviews and I was pleased with the food, I ordered a Sweet chilli chicken and mozzarella Panini, which was lovely and my Husband had the Thinly sliced ribeye steak with Smoked cheddar, which he could not...fault, compliments to the chefs.
