"Walking trough the Budello in Alassio we have spotted this place and as it look very neat and sleeky we decided to book a table for the following night which was Saturday last. As soon as we got there, they brought us at our table as we requested outside the place in a little and Cozy lane. We got immediately disappointed with the starter, octopus on mashed potatoes, totally tasteless and cold. An hour and fifteen minutes later we got the main course, which were two type of pasta, one of them was the wrong one that we had to return. So finally 20 minutes later, the right dish arrived (sort of spaghetti con vongole) but was only a forkfull of pasta overcooked and full of empty clams. I called the waitress and returned once again the dish and asked the bill. Even the tables behind us were having the same trouble.... So I have to be honest, usually I am not soo critical but this time was unbelievable, nothing went right, very slow in service, poor quality of food and not so professional overall. I come to Alassio very often in the summer and this place won't see us again and I won't be surprised if they don't get thinks right soon won't go far."

My friends and I got two pizzas and some pasta. Both were mediocre or might I even say not good at all. The service isn’t good either, it looked like they didn’t give a damn about us and were not very pleasant. Very disappointed, I am not used to eat that badly in Italy!! Go somewhere else close by, we had some way better experiences in a true Italian spirit!

It has been 3 and a half years since my last review. It seems they are still a work in progress. Our waiter asked how we liked our first course. When we said we did, he seemed relieved, and mentioned they had a new chef as of two nights before, but 'the same menu . The Vitello Tonnato and Porcini Flan were stylish and tasty. They have an attractive decor, and while the black t shirt uniform for the wait staff is a bit informal for my style sense, the menu is well conceived. At their price point (for the non pizza offerings) one expects well crafted dishes. We liked our appetizers. The Waygu Burgers, though were OK, but nothing special and a tad overcooked. More than an osteria and not quite...
