"I am at a loss for words to describe my experience at this restaurant! The food tasted like it was bought from a store, despite being promised as homemade. I had planned to book a Christmas dinner for myself, my husband, and our three young children, all under 10 years old. However, I was shocked to discover that the price was £55 per adult and £29 per child under 11. As a mother of three young children, I know they would not eat much, so I found the prices to be extremely high. Spending nearly £200 on a carvery held in a small, outdated, and stuffy room that resembled a 19th-century school seemed unreasonable. The music was incredibly loud and repetitive, playing old-school country music that even some older customers did not enjoy. The staff seemed to be of poor quality, with many appearing to be underage. The young girls were often seen running around frantically without assistance, and I even overheard management being rude and disrespectful, claiming they provided no support to the workers. While some parts of the food were acceptable, as I mentioned before, it tasted more like it was from a brand rather than homemade. Additionally, I noticed that the utensils had old food stuck to the handles and water stains. It is concerning to see such lack of proper cleaning in a restaurant that is supposed to be "classy" and "well taken care of." This place definitely requires a thorough inspection."

This has to be the best kept secret for Sunday dinners, 5 courses and every thing you ever needed, has to be the best selection of food in one place. and tasty too.

Ok if you just want some plain food. Service not great, very slow and they don’t do chicken or turkey gravy even when serving turkey and ham!!!! Suitable for people who like plain food!! Speisekarte ansehen

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is charming, and the open fire is so cozy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning soon.

Had a lovely evening with friends last night. Home made Veg soup was delicious followed by Chicken Maryland. The service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The menu is really well priced , We look forward to our next visit.

This restaurant in Coagh is likely the only option in town, but it offers a great meal at a reasonable price. The quaint setting next to the Ballinderry River adds to the charm of the old building on the edge of Coagh. The food was good, with the only downside being a slightly greasy fried egg. However, the generous portion sizes more than made up for it, with the side salad being a meal on its own. Despite some negative reviews about the setting, we found it charming and comfortable. Service was good and there is ample parking behind the restaurant. Overall, it is a budget-friendly option for a hearty meal in a pleasant environment. Speisekarte ansehen

We went to Hanover house on Sunday to check the place out as we were considering booking for Christmas Day. The car very has a good spread although the deserts seem to be frozen and not handmade. The service was extremely poor and slow, we were not asked if we wanted drinks although their was orange cordial on table, table is preset with a knife and fork and spoon that is it, you need to reuse your starter utensils for diner. There only seemed to be one waitress on which would explain why it took so long to clear table between courses. The car very itself was very messy. The tables seem to be very squashed together in hall. I would not recommend

Where do you start?? Upon arriving at the car park and seeing how busy it was we were looking forward surely somewhere so busy must be good. Sadly that was not the case. The website advertises this as fine dining which I can honestly say has to be the most polar opposite of what this place is. The decor is terrible and furniture is very very dated. The large room where we sat for the carvery was laid out like a school dining room all very perculiar. We were there for a 5 Course Carvery which is more like a Buffett with a carvery course. The food was not good at all. The meats on the carvery which the website stated were cooked to perfection were awful. The beef was that dry it was inedible t...

"Been twice lately as a couple , both times during midweek in the evening for dinner. We will not be back which is unfortunate as it’s within walking distance to us. Very poor and unacceptable. Used to enjoy coming here as our local but the food served midweek is borderline embarrassing. Unfortunately it’s not nice to say but true The lasagne served to us was 100% the exact same one that a local butcher in the town sells for a quarter of the price. The presentation of the food is poor lasagne and chicken fillet burger were served on the corner of the plate, one the other corner there was a few salad leaves which had brown tinges on them. This is the second time in a few months salad has been served to us in the Greenvale top bar and it’s going off and visibly brown. A friend of mine, his wife and parents complained about the poor quality of rare steaks served to them before Christmas 2022, the manager was very unprofessional in how he dealt with the matter. I believe the glenavon offers much better value across the road and a better experience. The Greenvale is very expensive for what it serves the menu is typical northern Irish meals that you can purchase in any butchers or shop in the town. Will not be back as we gave it a second chance after the last time. I think it’s one of these places that has its regulars who have come for years and won’t hear a bad word about their local. Villa Vinci and other local restaurants are miles above this and cheaper."
