The service at this restaurant was average, but the atmosphere was quite pleasant.

Very overated. Went with friends and family and two of us had upset stomachs we think caused by the very rich sauces.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has closed for the foreseeable future as of last week. However, the bar remains open and is fantastic. I would rate the atmosphere as 4 out of 5. Speisekarte ansehen

Hands down, the best roasties I had in my life and sublime dessert. The service is prompt and the waitresses lovely. The only thing that spoiled the whole experience was the manager being an absolute ar e to the waitresses the whole time. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

I ordered the Tofish with lentil Dahl, pak Choi, and crushed herby new potatoes and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant offers a good selection for vegans, with 2 out of the 6 choices for starters and mains being plant-based. Had Sunday lunch here today our first visit. Everything was perfect. The food was fantastic (the Yorkshire’s are giant! , perfectly cooked meat (I’m fussy so don’t often order meat , the service was excellent just the right level of attentiveness. All the staff were fantastic hosts. Looking forward to coming back when I’m next in the area. Service: Dine in

Went for the 3 courses for £20 Teesside Restaurant Week deal and it was a great experience! Food- delicious, well cooked and perfectly sized portions- the sea bream was a particular highlight and others in the group loved the chicken. Service- great- everything was super quick, the ladies serving us were friendly and helpful, no complaints. (10% service charge added automatically) Atmosphere- lovely decor (enjoying the Anthony Bourdain love) lighting and temp great, nice and busy which is always a good sign. Beer- great and reasonably priced- might be our new favourite local restaurant!

We have had so many lovely meals here and was so looking forward to our Sunday lunch yesterday. Unfortunately it was a totally different experience to what we are used to. We waited about 15 minutes just to be offered a drink. The soup tasted really nice , but was Luke warm and there was no butter with the bread. The dinners arrived and we were offered no sauces , but I requested some mint sauce , half way through my meal and it still hadn’t arrived , so when our 2nd round of drinks arrived I had to ask again. The Yorkshire puddings looked good , but were burnt , so didn’t actually taste great. There was no check back whilst we were eating , so we didn’t really get a chance to mention any of...
