H'ugo's - Speisekarte

I have never had a pizza this delicious out of Italy. It was crispy and so delicious. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The prices are very fair, for this one I paid less than 30 euros.

We came here after a trade show for an event. The set menu was very well selected and tasted great. The steaks were on point and the service was good but slow at times. I'd definitely come back to check out their regular menu.

4pm on a Friday, feeling hungry, stopped by this place and had salad and pizza. Very positively surprised by quality and price, especially for a truffle pizza. Inner court terrace is very nice and really gives a big city feel. Speisekarte ansehen

THE PLACE: H'ugo´s is a quite fancy bar-restaurant in a newly built corner of Frankfurt and is thus very modern. Unfortunately, the place can't live up to the quite high expectations with which one arrives. THE SERVICE was simply bad (ordering drinks and food was a chaos, waiters ran into my chair several times, etc etc). THE FOOD: The caprese salad was ok as a starter (too much onions though), the pizza not recommendable at all (too soft, did not feel well cooked), but the tiramisu ok.

Es hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage, in einer der Luxus-Einkaufsstraßen im Stadtzentrum. Das Interieur ist sehr enttäuschend schön gestaltet, aber sie haben so viele Tische eingepackt, dass die Leute kaum seitlich an ihnen vorbeikommen können. Stellen Sie sich vor, wie überfüllt und laut es in den Stoßzeiten sein könnte. Die Kellnerin hatte Schwierigkeiten, unsere Speisen und Getränke zu servieren, selbst als das Restaurant nur halb voll war... Wir waren dort mit mehreren Freunden, um ein spätes Mittagessen und ein paar Drinks zu genießen. Ich habe Pizza bestellt und das Essen war eher durchschnittlich, aber extrem überteuert. Ich würde den Ort nur empfehlen, wenn Sie wirklich Geld verschwenden...

...in a location like this, as this part of Frankfurt is rather an expensive one. Everything is a copy of the restaurants in Munich, but that is all...it remains a wannabe place. The toilets all in black...and you can still see they are not completely clean...Due to the fact that they were expecting a large group in the evening (it was 2:30 pm when we arrived), the kitchen was closed and only pizza offered...so let's eat pizza...it was not bad, but 15 Euro for a pizza with a little bit of salmon on it is a little bit ridiculous...I am still wondering why they put balsamic on it one has to wonder. We has a dinner with the team on a Wednesday evening. It turned out that Wednesdays there is after work with a pizza and salad buffet (10 EUR) and without a reservation you don't get good seats. We protested and decided to eat a la carte... The food is pricey but nothing special. The wines are way to expensive for the bottles offered. Open wines go from 8 EUR per glass, which for the type of the wine is really very boldish... The service was very good due to the waiter trying to accommodate the negative feelings we had. If it weren't for him, we would have left... It was very loud (DJ playing loud music) and the lights were very tiring after a day at the office looking at the PC it was reall...

Ich kam hier am Montag um 21 Uhr mit meinem Partner zum späten Abendessen. Nur 4 Tische waren besetzt und zwei Kellner liefen herum. Scheint nicht super beschäftigt zu sein, oder? Wir mussten 10 Minuten lang nur im Obergeschoss stehen und warten, bis das "begrüßende" Personal uns bemerkte und uns einen Tisch anbot, aber wir scheiterten kläglich, obwohl sie vorbeigingen. Also mussten wir sie selbst ansprechen und bekamen einen Tisch (von einer Menge um uns herum, perfekt gedeckt), der nicht einmal sauber war! Immer noch in der Hoffnung auf einen schönen Abend nahmen wir einen anderen und was denkst du? Wieder 10 Minuten warten, um die Speisekarte zu bekommen, aber niemand kümmerte sich darum...

We went there on a Thursday around 7 pm. The interior design is just great but they are cramming a hell of a lot tables in that space. I think we were lucky that we had a table apart the one right in front of the DJ so conversation wasn't a problem. I expected it to be a lot noisier. The better part of our group had pizza and I think everyone was happy with it. Mine was Tuna2 with sashimi, rocket, cilantro, soy sauce etc. I must say, I really liked it! I am considering to go there for the Christmas dinner with my team, but there are a couple of downsides. First, food and drinks are a fairly overpriced, e.g. an 0.2 glass of an average red wine they have Merlot, Cabernet and Chianti) is €8.90!... Speisekarte ansehen
