"We had just spent a brutal day driving 400 miles from the toe of the boot. We needed someplace beautiful, laud vack, charming and reasonably priced. Not asking much huh? Our bandb was just up the hill from the port so we walked down. It was early by italian standards and the only thing open were bars. Not what we had in mind. I happened to glance up and see the patio and someone standing on it. We climbed the rocky stairs and went inside. Met by a very attentive maitre de i asked if they were open and apologized for the early hour explaining our tiredness. He said of course but no pizza (it takes 6 to 8 hours to get a stone wood fired pizza oven to temperature. We were fine with no pizza having just spent 2 weeks inSicily with pizza every other time we turned around. The view overlooking the port at sunset was gorgeous. I had the rissotto del mare and husband had spaghetti vongole. My rissotto came topped with the most glorious shtimp I have ever eaten. Loaded with squid, clams, musseles it was in a rissotto that was creamy, al dente and had a surprising dash of fennel. Husband's spaghetti had 20 clams (i counted) and was in a wine sauce spiced with marjoram. Again attention to quality as the wine was obviously not some supermarket plonk but a nice chardonnay. The house wine was a marvelous red that you could literally taste smoke. Dessert was a lovely strawberry panne cotta with basil prinkled I had a chocolate panna cotta with mint leaves and freeze dried gelato popcorn. Coffee, prosecco, an antipasti of a single large breaded shrimp pan fried in butter. Total cost 66 euro Total bill 66.50 euro. In tourist central a miracle in quality and"

No doubt the location is fantastic see view, lovely breeze, great! The food was of a good quality, very overpriced though. I ordered a fish of the day , with no question about price, and ended up paying 37 Euros for a single fish :

The location is very nice, but the service was sad (if I can say) and just enough. The restaurant's specialty is fish. The pasta of the pastries today however was hot. The bread was very good. The price is very high compared to the service. Speisekarte ansehen

Next to a railing overlooking the port and with the rocky contour that from base to the village above, illuminated as in a fairy tale, this is the setting of a restaurant where you taste excellent fish dishes surrounded by the courtesy of the staff and the professionalism of an excellent chef

Great food, a little less service. The maître that to justify an internal problem of the kitchen was quite indisposable saying that we had not to take two different first not to put the kitchen in difficulty... boh... Given the problems of course we waited long enough but it happens. well the rest of the staff. apart from the scorched polyp that was a bit burned, for the rest all fresh and great

"What a find! This is the type of “quick and easy” dining experience you want when on a holiday. Very much resembles a comfortable, friendly take away shop you’d frequent in your own home town. The menu is substantial and covers a lot of options for all tastes. They also have a few additional items available as daily specials (which seem to sell out quickly). We ordered what we thought would be just enough to satisfy a family of four; however I soon realised that I had significantly underestimated the serving sizes which were substantial for the price paid. We wanted to finish all that we ordered, however we just couldn't squeeze another bite in. PiadinAmi’s take on a Chicken Kebab was different (served in a piadina flat bread), but it worked extremely well. Everything we ordered was fresh and carried a lot of great flavour. Even the fried items were not heavy and tasted as if they were fried in freshly changed oil. In speaking to the staff, they told me that everything is prepared and made daily inclusive of the piadina and pizza dough; this is exceptional considering it is not a high end reataurant. The shop seems to be loved by locals too as it was consistently busy whilst we were there. I’ve been told that most nights all their food sells out which is definitely a positive sign of a good locale. We sat in their small covered garden/terrace area which is adjacent to the shop. It was a pleasant, well lit environment perfect for that type of meal. We were extremely happy with our experience at PiadinAmi and will definitley visit again before we leave Agropoli. If I could, I would give an extra star for the exceptional quality of PiadinAmi’s food for the service and price paid!"
