Kings Head - Speisekarte

The lunch had a not much atmosphere, but the food was enjoyable and lovely. I would rate the food and service as 5 out of 5, but the atmosphere only a 3.

We held a surprise 60th for my mother in law here and the team were absolutely fantastic. From helping us set up the decorations, the food, the service…it was all fantastic!

Food very good, menu choice extensive, helpful friendly bar staff, but oh so very cold. When we arrived there were embers of a recent log burner fire but we were sat nowhere near it although it wasn’t topped up during our visit. Speisekarte ansehen

Food good but a bit expensive. Drinks ok. Only one ale on our of three pumps. A cold day in August and it was a bit cold in the pub too. Their card machine seemed to be a bit temperamental. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The service was friendly pretty quick (bearing in mind that I was about 15 minutes late arriving after the rest of our party). The food was lovely, we all enjoyed our different meals. Wheelchair accessibility: It was wheelchair friendly, had suitable toilets. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Came in Tuesday, with my wife we ordered chicken wellington Chicken burger. Chicken wellington cooked to perfection very nice gravy to go along side. Lovely food at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist with our requests. My 2 friends and I will definitely be back Vegetarian options: My friend had a veggie burger without the bun with Sunday veg, which she enjoyed. After not going to the Kings Head for two years, we wanted to see if the new owners had improved the place. We were pleasantly surprised. The pub has been transformed into a cozy and welcoming spot. The staff is amazing and the food is top-notch. We enjoyed it so much that we went for dinner two weekends in a row and plan to return as soon as possible. The pub is now a great asset to our village and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

The food was very disappointing. I ordered the creamy garlic mushrooms, but it seemed like the chef forgot to add the garlic sauce as it was really lacking. The chips, on the other hand, were very good. The menu was quite limited. They allow dogs in the restaurant, which I don't mind as I am a dog person, but they need to be well-behaved. Unfortunately, there was a spaniel that barked constantly and the owner did nothing to address the issue. The service was also quite slow and the waitresses did not address the problem with the dog.
