david and his staff are nice people and very prepared on the dishes they offer. we were in and ate as appetizer potato cream and octopus (the best tasted on the island) and the first exceptional with fresh fish and to finish cheesecake and fabulous baked cream! correct price quality ratio.

refreshments delicious fish very fresh. the kind and honest staff, since for two people it was recommended a single mixed fried instead of two. the price is right. the restaurant is located on the sea the guiaie the most beautiful area of the island of Elba. good and beautiful dishes I highly recommend it. Great casual Restaurant right on the sea. My wife and i split the house speciality which is homemade pasta with fruits of the sea. It was absolutely delicious and loaded with muscles clams octopus and a few other seafood meats that i couldn't identify, but they were all delicious. It was a huge portion and probably could have served my entire family. Friendly waiter that was very helpful.

The view is breath-taking, but right at arrival our waiter was told off by the manager that he shouldn't welcome any guests without reservation. This aggressive yelling at the staff continued throughout the evening. On top of this, we tried to order food without gluten to our daughter, some meat and oven roasted potatoes, but the waiter was too afraid to take the order. He couldn't take the responsibility he explained. The boss took over, but at the end our daughter had to wait for over an hour to get her potatoes, long after the rest of the family had finished our meals.

This is a fantastic restaurant in Portoferraio right by the ocean and beach that my wife and I visited in July 2015. Exquisite seafood, wonderful gelato, pasta perfetto, and incredibly friendly staff. Not being used to Italian dining, my wife and I both ordered four courses from the menu. Unlike some other places we had eaten where each course was small, here each course was practically a full meal. The waiter was quite taken aback that we had eaten so little of our food, and due to our limited command of the language we had difficulty explaining that the food was fine but that we had simply ordered too much of it.
