this time, our pleasure trip in france brought us back to epernay on the path of Normandy's return. For the first time, we visited this restaurant there. There were three different menus to choose from, at 2195 euros, 2895 euros and 40 euros. each of these menus was worth it, as was the accompaniment to champagne for 30 euros. good caring service, no nestled water, but badoit, a beautiful classic interior. it is a very authentic French restaurant. full of French and they offered a menu of good value for money. the 40-euro version was quite complex, so we chose the simpler version to 21 euros. It was very tasty but not big. The cheese was beautiful. First class. the choice of wines was wide with respect to champagne, not bad for the red but rather limited for the whites. the wines of the house were of a very good quality/price ratio. overall a pleasant evening. highly recommended.

I thought it was a restaurant among the best noted in epernay but we were unfortunately disappointed. food was medium and service was cruelly lacking. We also offered only one menu in English when we asked, counterfeit. tomato and mozzarella ordered then beef steak. simply okay and even more spoiled by:1. wine recommendations - expensive and precipitated to order quickly without visibility of the price2. service - at best, rude, but quite horrible. intended to have the impression that we were "on the way". big guy the main problem, not the lady a little thinner that was much more user-friendly with customers.3. quality of food. Very medium, nothing special.

we book in the short term and are happy to have one of the last tables. the restaurant is comfortable and a little rustic. the tables are very close - which we don't mind thanks to the nice table neighbors. service is very fast and professional. Unfortunately, it sometimes seems a little impatient and stressed. the menu is not too copyy and only in French - but all service employees speak excellent English, some of them also in German. the map of champagne is overwhelming - countless expensive and cheaper bottles, large and small and something for all tastes and budgets. better order a bottle - the glasses are not worth the price. we decide on a menu with salad or artichokes and snails in an...
