La Criée - Speisekarte

Loved everything from appetizers to dessert. The service is quiet friendly and the food is top notch, I particularly recommend the seafood soup and the mussels.

Now that's lunch at my favourite restaurant. Kir and olives followed by seafood platter (oysters whelks mussels clams and prawns) washed down with chilled muscadet. An expresso to finish.

I visited this restaurant several times with family and friends, and every time I found the staff very welcoming and attentive to our requests. They are specialized in the delicious fish dishes which are well varied. Speisekarte ansehen

I had four meals at La Criee on rue Lagrange on different occasions, all being excellent especially their assorted seafood plate and a grilled dorade. Their set menues are a very good value, too. A good selection of wine, nice atmosphere, attentive service.

These restaurants are always dependable for fresh seafood and "moules Frites, but this one surprised me with their grilled sardines.. They reminded me of Bar Santurce in Madrid where we had wonderful grilled sardines when we were wandering through Raspail Market.

Dropped into this small restaurant for lunch today. It was great that there was no one in the street hassling you to come in. Had the Moules and a wine, from their lunch menu. Great taste and value. Will definitely return for lunch or dinner, the menu looks quite good for those who like seafood. Great location, very close to Notre Dame. Speisekarte ansehen

We tend to go earlier than the usual dinner crowd so the atmosphere is tranquil and we sit toward the back of the restaurant. Service is good, unobtrusive and they try to speak English to us. We insist on speaking French but the servers definitely know English. There is a variety of raw oysters available and the main dishes have all been excellent.

I must admit that at 12 noon I had already had a business meeting at a McDonald's (not my choice). At 2:00 I found myself walking by this restaurant and everything appealed to me - the outside, the decor, the menu. So I went inside and had to decided if would overeat or just enjoy one item. I chile the delicious fish soup. Besides a basket of delicious fresh bread it also came with cheese, mustard and great croutons. If I had the sumptuous fish plates (i checked out others had ordered) there was no way I could have made it out the door! Delicious, fresh and very well presented.

Pour le prix qualité on a visité ce resto plusieurs fois. Tous les fois que madame nous a servie, elle avait un humeur pas gentil, pas convivial: desagréable, comme elle n'aime pas son boulot, une tâche obligatoire. Elle n'est pas conscient de ça, on pense, mais ça nous dérange. We visited this restaurant for many years. Price qualité, very good. Service not, when the senior lady served us. She works here for many years. Each time when she serves us: a grinny look, not inviting. No smile as if she is not interested in us as clients. Not pleasant.
