La Croisette - Speisekarte

We had lunch here with our French friends who lived nearby, it was an excellent lunch, we had mussels and they had oysters and both were wonderful along with a very good carafe of wine. Nice surroundings too and good service.

We visited this restaurant last night. It was very busy, but the head waiter replied “I’m sure we can find you a table”. The young staff were delightful and very helpful. The fresh seafood food was delicious. Price was reasonable. I highly recommend. Bon appétit...

Had the moules et frites (mussels and chips) with roquefort sauce - amazingly good and very generous. Even if you are not normaly a fan of mussels like me I would still highly recommend you try this dish. Staff were great friendly and efficient and the menu is fully translated into English.

I ordered a salad and french fries, the salad tasted like fish, the fries were ok and I overheard the waitresses backtalk the custumors. Finally when I was going to pay for the overpriced salad, that I didn't eat because of the weird taste, they...didn't even want to make a gesture. I do not recommend this restaurant and will never go back.

Opted for salad starter which was a meal in itself. Then moules with chips and mayonnaise. Washed down with lots of wine! Prefect. Attentive staff, great location. We were lucky because we had a shaded table, we would have hated to be sitting in the heat of the midday sun without cover. Recommended venue. Excellent choice of menu and the prices would suit anyone.

We stopped here for lunch during our day visit to Gruissan, mainly due to the restaurant's location overlooking the marina. The staff were very pleasant and the service attentive throughout the meal. Okay so the food wasn't exceptional but it wasn't trying to be - it was a tasty, fresh offering of pizza and salad, which is exactly what we were wanting so we were very satisfied. In terms of price, we didn't find it that expensive and it was certainly comparable with surrounding restaurants we looked at before choosing this one. We'd certainly eat here again if in the area.

We made a reservation and got the smallest table in the place, while other couples who had not booked got large 4 person tables. All attention was paid to customers who asked for the expensive Christmas Menu, our table was not cleared of any used glasses and became completely over crowded. The meal was awful and the Tuna we had was over salted and inedible, and when I complained I was fobbed of with an excuse about it being the flavour of the sea. Afterwards my partner felt unwell and it ruined our evening, and resulted in him being ill for 3 days. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and will defintaley not be going back.

We had no idea of how good or bad this place might be as we just happened upon it for lunch. The location on the corner of the marina attracted us in though and I am pleased it did. It was quiet when we arrived at 12:30 but by 13:00 it was very busy and now I know why.We ordered the Fruits de mer for two but made the mistake of ordering a starter too which was definitely not required. The seafood main course was huge. There were ten varieties of fish and shellfish including a whole sea bass and a whole sea bream. Every element was perfectly cooked and tasted fresh. We couldn't eat it all (but did try). There was enough for four people! A great find and, next time, I will pass on the starter.

My wife and I were en route to Barcelona and thought we would make a short detour off the autoroute for a fish lunch. Initially a disappointment all the restaurants by the port were closed, a Thursday in April, luckily La Croisette was open....We arrived quite late, just after 1.30 pm but were made very welcome. No hesitation in choosing the day 's menu with the main course 'Fish and Chips ' The first course was a tasty salad served with a slice of piazza. A large portion of extremely fresh cod coated in part with a beautiful tasty batter, and the home made chips....mmmmm. To follow we ordered from the menu, my tarte tatin was a delight, excellent caramelised apples. A choice of wine or coff...
