"There is nothing that can be said about this sad excuse of a Kosher French style brasserie except that it is positively horrible on every aspects. We arrived at 2.40 pm today, which was late, but yet they accepted to give us a table. I WISH THEY HAD TURNED US DOWN! There were still many people there at the time. We asked for merguez (spicy sausages to share as a starter and three peppered steaks. We asked for wine and the waiter was reluctant to give us the wine menu, we had to insist to get it. Another waiter came back a few minutes later to say that they didn 't have peppered steaks anymore. We then asked for t-bone steaks instead. The merguez arrived in a tin dish and without plates. Well, after literally one minute they brought the mains... plate problem solved (LOL From there, the meat was rare, mine was on 'the wrong side ' I was told... they took back our mains. No more plates again so we cut our raw merguez in the emptied bread plate : 10 minutes later the meat came back. Hard and chewy, tasteless, and for one of them totally inedible (see picture taken minutes before we left with the fantastic mustard dispenser in the background . To make it better the waiters were aligned staring at us as we ate and making fun of us. The salt and pepper were not on the table, the mustard was in a plastic dinner-style dispenser, the peppered sauce was absolutely watery and awful, the staff clueless, arrogant and incompetent . One of the worst place I have ever been to. 33 euros for a disgusting meat, 15 euros for undercooked tasteless merguez, 17 euros for half a bottle of frozen Pinot and 5 euros for a coke zero. spend your money, get out angry and with a tummy ache. DO NOT GO THERE for the sake of eating kosher. Treat yourself somewhere where customers are treated with respect."

Second visit, every time I visit Paris I stop here first. It never fails, warm staff, delicious food, authentic environment. This time I had the entrecôte sandwich and it was as good as it can get. I continue to highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a wonderful dinner here but it was a bit pricey for what it was. Would definitely come back though. Confusing about the tipping because I was told that people do not tip in Paris but this was the one place they asked for a tip, and was only 3 people at the table.

Went there for a solo lunch after seeing the good reviews. Got wonderful vegetables and then tartar stake which I didnt find so good (although may be its my taste and most likely is great meat). All in all i didnt find it so good although may be it was not my best day personally. Speisekarte ansehen

We had an excellent meal. Definitely a restaurant for those that like meat. Ambience good and restaurant was full which is always a good sign. Service was first class and the meat choice and taste was very good. We live in Israel so we have plenty of meat restaurants which are good. This was up at the top with the good ones. A must visit on a trip to Paris

Kosher steak and burger place. Nothing fancy, but steak and burgers very very good. We didn't have a reservation, but others who came after us without a reservation, kept getting seated before us. When we asked, we knew we were in a real neighborhood bistro because the excuses were 'this one just had hip surgery and can't stand' and 'this one has to get home to the babysitter'. Wait staff was very harried but very friendly and nice.

For full disclosure , I am not eating kosher but my parents do. So when we get out, I have to find a kosher place that could work for all of us. And seriously, I had a really hard time. The Fille du Boucher is the place. Why do we like it so much? 1: it looks like a Parisian brasserie (with a jukebox !!) 2: the service is great, fun and very welcoming 3 : you get what you ask for. A simple and well put piece meat. I keep coming back!! Speisekarte ansehen

We were looking for a nice kosher restaurant and discovered this place in the 17th arrondisement (sp? . We chatted with The Butcher 's Daughter, the name of the place and the manager (owner? who was most responsive in interpreting the menu for us and providing us with directions in the district to a shop we wanted to visit. That said, the entrecote steaks we ordered were not up to those served in kosher restaurants in NY (sigh but good enough (and I loved the mashed potatoes! .

We went there a few times when we visited Paris a couple of years ago. We went again twice when we visited two weeks ago. The meals, especially the steaks are delicious. The waiters are very friendly. Sometimes slightly disorganised. Forgetting one of our dishes resulted in a large delay when we were in a hurry, We want ot work our way throught their menu but I and my wife keep returning to the tornados which come with foie gras. On our last evening they gave us complimentary deserts! The food is attractively presented and even the burgers that the children had look appetising. If you keep kosher this must be one of the best options in Paris. Even if you do not, I think that this restaurant...
